the 'heroes' resolve the nuclear explosion, defeat the bad guy (or however its going to end) by the end of the season...
or
leave us hanging on a cliff without any resolve until next season.
i've been asking myself this question..and i dont know what i'd pick. |

I would much rather have this arch resolved and have something else be the cliffhanger for next year.
I don't see the point in extending the explosion for more than one season. Sounds like a good way to kill the audience base. |

Yep, this particular storyline needs to be resolved, but new questions can be presented. Look at the series Charmed, which stayed on for what, 9 years? At the end of the season, questions were answered, but more were asked. |

Something about what Simone said to Peter is bugging me. Right after Charles (her father) died, she told Peter about how her father said that he was flying with Peter over a changed world, "a world full of pain" but that it was okay, because Peter and people like them were there to help. (I'm paraphrasing.)
Now this is either just alluding to the problems in the world today and how the Heroes will be able to use their powers to help our troubled world, or it's a reference to a post-Apocalyptic world devastated by a nuclear explosion. Either way based on some of the early show cliffhangers I'd bet waffles that the cliffhanger for Season 1 of Heroes is going to be huge. |

| I'd rather not have much, because I might not have access to a t.v for a long while after season one is over (don't ask). So the more a cliffhanger, the more it's going to eat away at me. |

| Id like another type of a cliff hanger that has me wondering what now!!? over holding the end battle for a full next season. They have tons of unanswered questions they could create adn i hope they do that. |

| has anyone kept track on how fast the show is going? in terms of real world time? like each episode only progresses a day? or 2? 5 weeks seems a bit of a long way to go. |

I'm wondering if this isn't a reference to what will happen to the world if the events continue without being acted upon by an external force. The only external force that I can think of at the moment is Hiro. To start into this is opening a can of worms. This isn't the place to start a discussion regarding a precog's sight domain, but it does beg the questions of what a precog is seeing, what timeline are they looking down, and if what they can see can be changed... In another thread maybe

I've been trying to figure that out myself. A couple minutes ago I was going over the scene with Charles and Peter at the beginning of episode 7 and noticed the newspaper that Peter was holding. The end of the date is difficult to make out, but after a few passes and pauses, I found out that it says its a Thursday in November, but besides the fact that its a single digit, I can't make out the day of the month.
Note that the date that Hiro traveled to, Nov. 8th, has already passed between the 7th and 8th episodes. So I think atleast its safe to assume that their travels are going slower that real life.
Some interesting information on a side note, last week on Nov. 8th (Wed.), there was a Transit of Mercury. So, I'm pretty excited about what this means for the show, seeing as this is the same date that Hiro witnessed the explosion. |

First off, hi! I'm new here! Second, I'd like the nuclear explosion storyline resolved in this season, and leave us with another cliffhanger for the next season. |

| I think the nuke could be a 2-season storyline (but no more), I would hate for Heroes to get ridiculous like "24". |

ive been thinking about it...and i think i'd like the nuke resolved and a new cliffhanger to keep me drooling for a few months. how about...as soon as they save the world...(literally right after) future hiro comes back, freezes time with the last bit of energy to deliver a final message to peter as hes dying. future hiro dies, time resumes itself. zoom to peters face *shocked*...credits!
lol. |
