Hey now. Hana did just fine as the one eyed assassin in Kill Bill.
Something about a leggy blonde wielding a katana, wearing a leather jump suit and/or a nurse outfit.... that makes it pretty easy to wake up in the mornings.
Not to mention screaming and wandering aimlessly in pain after having her remaining eyeball plucked. That was pretty cool.
If you guys wanna see some BAD Lady scientists
then look back just a few decades back
to the golden age of horrible acting
and terrible science in such classics as
Mamie Van Doren as Dr. Mathilda West in
1960's Sex Kittens Go to College
Professor Mathilda has an IQ of256 and a dozen degrees
in a movie that will make you dumber for watching it!
Rosalba Neri as Tania Frankenstein in
1971's Lady Frankenstein
This naughty daughter of the more famouse Doctor
takes off where he dear old dad left off...
only she sleeps with her monster.
Really bad.
Katherine Victor as Dr. Myra in
1959’s Teenage Zombies
Doc Myra uses nearve gas to turn wholsome 1950's kids into Zombies
Not the cool kind that eat people either...
Oh yeah, there's a gorilla in this picture too
for no appearent reason.
I loved This Island Earth as well
and conceder it a classic in Science Fiction for its era...
As far as Faith Domerque's screaming
I'd scream too if I saw that Meteluna Bug Monster coming at me!
Another great ditzy girl scientist was Zsa Zsa Gabor
in 1958's Queen of Outer Space
possibly the most sexist Sci Fi ever made.
Three all American Astronauts land on the planet Venus
a planet populated entirely by beautiful women!
You got to see Ms Gabor's color accordinated
lab clothe/ball gowns as she mixes chemicals in her laboratory.
Just because I couldn't resist
here is a line from the movie...
Lt. Larry Turner: "Even if they invented it, how could they drive it. You know how women drivers are."
