that states that the wii has sold over 600,000 in its first 8 days in the americas.

thats about 75,000 units per day. does anyone have info on the PS3 sales?? i've been curious. i googled it, but my workplace is heartlessly blocking all my beloved sites.

I don't think Sony even made 600,000 PS3 but they can't be good when a Sony rep comes out and says that the Wii is a better deal.

^^^ lol. okay. heres the news so far. on wikipedia, it shows sales figures. let me get that real quick..and i'll link it up so its all nice an legal on the forum.

Current system sales figures
PlayStation 3: 156,400 sold in Japan as of November 26, 2006[citation needed] (Release Date: November 17, 2006 in North America, March 2007 in Europe, November launch 400,000 units for North America [2]) (2 million to be shipped by the end of 2006, 6 million by March 31, 2007[10])

Wii: 1 Million Sold as of December 2nd, 2006,[3] (Release Date: North and Latin America: November 19, 2006, Japan: December 2, 2006, Australia: December 7, 2006, Europe: December 8, 2006) (4 million to be shipped by the end of 2006, 6 million by March 31, 2007[11])

Xbox 360: 6 Million sold as of 30 Sept 2006[verification needed]

WOW! Wii is winning (yay) (not counting xbox as it came out a year ago) What I think PS needs to do is make something new with their system not just little upgrades with good graphics. It needs something BIG
