IMO, I still don't think Knox was afraid - I think he was merely pointing out to Claire that there was no reason that SHE had to be afraid. I can't smell fear like Knox can, lol, but nothing in his voice was indicative of fright.

I agree that he knew how to 'disarm' Knox (by not being afraid, and by telling Noah to run far away), but it would be impossible for Gabriel to use Knox's own power against him. Just because he knows how Knox's power works doesn't mean that Gabriel had it. From what we know in the series thus far, there is only one way for Gabriel to acquire an ability - and that is to examine the brain. Gabriel definitely didn't have Knox's power in that scene, IMO.

I meant that Sylar used his powers against Knox, not Knox's powers. Guess I could have written more clearly.

Yea i agree that its only a thirst for knowledge. But I was a little thrown when peter was fighting sylar and he said "im more special than you!" seemed a little sylar-esque to me!
