Technically superhiro, it's only illegal if one were to make a profit from others work. If an episode airs on TV and you show a rerun... or list a site that shows a rerun, then the company who made the show wont come after you. After all, what good does it do to go after a site, whos making NO money off you to prevent them from airing shows that ALREADY aired, that you can even go ONLINE to their site to watch the reruns. Makes no sense. Why spend money to stop something that gives publicity to the show and may raise ratings?
If you still have your doubts... feel free to email NBC and ask them for permission to have all of their shows on your site to improve publicity. |

I understand what you are saying but well with inflation and all the price of gas i could never afford the lump sum they require nowadays just to puchase a series on dvd and i don't agree to the prices of said videos
that is the way i see if they could bring it to under $50 then maybe but till then ... |

and i am not making videos for other people this is for my own enjoymant cause i love this show so much i catch myself going on the comp to rewatch the episodes haha am i now a geek or what |

Check the laws on this one. Regardless of if you agree, it's copyright violation regardless of if you make money or not.
If someone buys a DVD, rips it, then posts it for download they are only hurting the creators of the original content. By the logic in your argument it's okay because the person hosting the illegal downloads isn't making any money and the shows have already aired. Copyright violation is copyright violation, plain and simple, and piracy equals lost sales for the company selling the DVD's.
NBC owns the shows, so they can play them on their site as much as they like. They also have ads on their site which is what pays for the show. Without advertising there would be no Heroes, plain and simple. 
I really didn't want to take this thread off topic, but this is how it works. Consult an attorney if you disagree, there certainly isn't a shortage of them out there.  I've already made the position of this site clear, but you're welcome to start a thread to debate piracy and the legality of it all over in Bent Space.

| But sadly enough Heroes is gonna lose money because we're not the only ones who like the show here on this site that will buy the DVDs =( |
