I think it was a stunt double again.

I don't think Nathan will be healed... I think he's gone for good. They've brought back Nathan from a mid-air explosion, and they've healed Nathan's scarred face. Personally, I think his character has had it for revivals. As dumb as Peter is, he may not even realize that his blood could potentially have healing properties for others.
And The Company surely isn't going to heal Nathan. Nathan was going to take them down. They healed HRG because they needed him for Claire-insurance. I don't see them healing Nathan for any reason.
Thoughts?
They can take their time working out how to res Nathan. Afterall, HRG was dead for ages & ages before they got him back to the facility and plugged in Claire's blood.
We know they didn't give him the blood on site, or in the van, because his eye would have grown back already (we've seen that the blood acts quick).
HRG was dead for a looong time. Ergo Nath is totally saveable.
I win
Here's a close up shot of the side of the assassins face, notice no glasses (im not saying it wasn't HRG, this scene was probably a reshoot, and Jack Coleman might of not been available to do the scene)
really seems like a new character to me, before i did the zoom in i was expecting HRG or maybe even Peter from the future (regretting the descision made that day, i know that's pretty far out considering how much Peter worships Nathan)...
I'm now thinking it's an all new Villian, which would go in theme with the chapter...
The guy does look an awful lot like Jason Bourne though, lol
Although, as Squeak points out, it could very well be a stunt double, especially because of the strike. The writers had changed the ending of "Powerless," and what we saw was the new version. Since the ending changed, so did the title for Volume 3 (which was originally "Exodus"), and with the changing of the title comes the changing of the story line. Nathan's original assassin was supposed to be the virus... The reason it could be a stunt double is because the writers may not know who they want the killer to be yet...
I does not look like anyone we know to me. It might very well be a 'stunt double' due to the re-shoot. Actually, does anyone else think that guy looks like the person who played Sylar at the beginning of last season? Very similar in appearance to the 'Sylar' Matt shot in the ep. that intro'ed Molly.
i agree popkorn, it's hard to speculate right now with the strike going on and everything being in disarray.
i do feel that the way the virus saga came to a close was a bit poop to be honest, rather rushed (though the way they "diposed" of adam was hilarious). They could have done a great cinematic end to the virus with adam dropping the virus as hiro takes him away, peter entering the vault, missing the "catch" and turning around to warn nathan, who flys matt out of the site real quick, and peter finishing the virus off on his own by nuking the entire site.... or something? i dunno... i just feel that "mind catching" the virus before it hits the ground was a little lack luster considering the build up this plot has had
If you recall, HRG shouldn't need to wear glasses now. After all, he's been infused with Claire's blood, so the myopic nerves should also have corrected themselves!
I think that it's HRG, to be completely honest. This is the man that was the most rutheless operative the Company had, and he's now got to prove himself to the Company that he's back to keep them from coming after his family. A man that is pressed like that would be willing to do just about anything, IMO.
Watching the figure walk away, he had the loping gait that I've seen HRG use, so that's my guess.
I'd have to say that Angela could very well be the puppetmaster that's pulling the strings here. After all, she's got The Haitian in her back pocket, she's still in contact with Bob, she knows about everyone else that founded The Company, and she's one of the few that's still alive to talk about it!
I'm wanting to see more sinister folks in the Heroes universe. There's too many "good guys" that we've met, and not enough that are more dark than light, you know?

I agree - the scenario you just proposed would have been pretty cool to see! Though, that would bring up the problem of trying to explain a 'nuclear bomb' going off in Odessa, Texas, most likely killing tens of thousands of people.

If they haven't figured out who the killer is, then why show us anything?
Because then we'd assume that it was a certain invisible man

I wanna see more baddies!!!
HRG will continue to wear glass, IMO. That's one of those things that I think the writers are going to disregard.
I love your explanation of why it's HRG. Genius, Jorm
I don't think Angela is calling the shots. She said, "You do know that you've opened Pandora's Box," which clearly means that it was the fault of someone else that her son is dead. I don't think she had to do with Nathan's murder at all. I DO think she understood that it 'had' to happen. She's not too happy about it.
I most DEFINITELY want to see more baddies as well, especially those that will be working together. That would be SICK!

Why would Peter kill Nathan with a gun of all things? He has all of those powers, even ones they have neglected showing him using for the past who knows how many episodes. Wouldn't it be easier for him to do all of his tasks invisible? Those caps are most likely a stunt double for Noah or... Future Peter(who has already been ruled out). The caps matched closest to Peters face. I suppose it can be a new character, some pet killer Angela has to do her dirty deeds. Which brings me to my next point.... What are Angela's powers?
