Ya it was HRG for sure if the assassin was from all the characters we have seen and no one else.
I think peters will heal his bro with his blood... I think he will be all depressed and think and stuff and remember Adam and because he can absorb powers he my try to insert his blood. I think this will happen. Also it could also be Claire who cures him.
Welcome to the forum, Mike!
I don't think Nathan will be healed... I think he's gone for good. They've brought back Nathan from a mid-air explosion, and they've healed Nathan's scarred face. Personally, I think his character has had it for revivals. As dumb as Peter is, he may not even realize that his blood could potentially have healing properties for others.
And The Company surely isn't going to heal Nathan. Nathan was going to take them down. They healed HRG because they needed him for Claire-insurance. I don't see them healing Nathan for any reason.
At the suggestion of Herc, I've moved this thread to the spoilers forum since we may be receiving spoilers regarding Nathan's assassin within the next month.

Thoughts?
I like Nathan's character but I hope that he's dead. After a time it would be quite boring to know that nobody can die on the show.
As for Peter I'm not so sure that his blood is good as Adam's or Claire's. He has the healing abilty and his mind can do it but he was not born with it, so his blood can be just normal.

I believe Nathan is dead for good...Peter may have empathically taken the healing ability, but I doubt his blood has the same property; it would make the series a joke if everyone who dies can come back. Reality is that it is likely that you need to get the blood into the veins before rigor mortis sets in.
I also feel HRG is the guy, if you recall he was told by the company that he would be safe (or his family would be) if he did one major thing for them. He seemed very torn up when it happened...and has anyone thought that there may be a special in the company that has the ability to move from point to point (like HIro) quickly? Plus, why do we assume that the press conference was the hour the showdown happened in the safe? As a media member, I understand that putting together a press conference, and live TV coverage takes at least 3-4 hours from scratch (in a best case).
I doubt completely the Haitian was involved (although in an interview last week, Jimmy Jaque Louis said they wanted him to film a scene for the finally but he was out of the county) but I want a screen cap of that silloutte...was that Old Man Petrelli? Still trying to determine why we have not seen his face...but he was a tall, thin man...Hmmmm
I want to say HRG - but unless they have seriously skewed time lines between threads... how did he get from CA to TX quickly enough?
It seems like the writers don't take the concept of 'time' seriously when writing for the show.
From TX to NY last year, to CA to TX to NY this year, they really need to start realizing that we're not as gullible as they think, lol.
I also believe it was Noah. If you take into account 1) how quickly Adam took to Noah over the last few episodes and 2) Adam suddenly turning on Claire and really downplaying what the Company had done to him, I wonder if Noah recruited West and that's how he got there so quickly.
I think you meant West in that entire Adam vein there, though you seem to have gotten it right in the end.
(Posted mainly to help any newbies who might get confused by your error - not attacking you or anything!)
Anyway, I think it is quite obvious who shot Nathan - Mr. Muggles!! He seemed quite happy to see Noah when he got home. I think Mr. Muggles is a company dog, through and through - I mean look at the cover! The company rigged his dog shows so he would be in the spotlight - what better way to hide than right out in the open, eh?
I digress. You never really know anything for sure on this show.
No way it was Sylar: he cares about nothing and noone but for himself, and for power. I'm laying down money right now that says it was Noah. The Company is using him to kill two birds with one stone -- silencing Claire, and in return for her promised safety from company machinations, killing that stoolie Nathan (eww, bad joke, sorry. Love ya Nate! R.I.P. . . . or not, whatever). And yes, if Noah spoke convincingly enough to West that killing Nathan would mean saving his beloved Claire, he may very well have helped him. (Of course, Noah would have to have left out the whole "Oh yeah, BTW, this guy is Claire's biological father" part, lol)
it looked like hrg to me. the build of the person was the same as jack coleman's
The body build also matched Sylar and Peters's, in my opinion (more towards Sylar's).

The figure looked like Sylar to me, but I don't see how it could've been him, unless he's be cloned or something. Gasp, is it possible? LOL!
I don't doubt the fact that there is someone in the Heroes universe, whom we haven't met yet, that can duplicate him/herself (as we've seen in last weeks Graphic Novel). Anything's a possibility

Well, if Future Sylar is a consideration, then consider that Claude Rains could have easily done it.
Claude wouldn't have been foolish enough to be visible when shooting Nathan

It was meant to mean: "If future Sylar is a possibility, so is Claude Rains" Its just that the Future Sylar thing kills me every time. He can't bend space and time.

We don't know what happened with Future Hiro's body in FYG. He was shot, Peter was attacked by Sylar, and Present Hiro/Ando teleported back to 2006. For all we know, Parkman and President 'Nathan's' guys could have dragged the body off. If Sylar got away from Peter and was able to get near Future Hiro's body, he could have definitely acquired chronokinesis.
With all that has happened and changed this Season, we don't know what the future holds for the Heroes. It's a clean slate. Anything is possible now - while it's very unlikely that Future Sylar is Nathan's assassin, it's possible that Sylar will kill Hiro and eventually gain his ability.
