So... does this mean she just confirmed herself to be in the second season?

Nice find, AcidTwister. I thought it'd make for a nice shiny new thread.

So it looks like Claire will be back.
General consensus is that Sylar will be back.

So, if you've got some kind of clue or evidence that points to a particular character coming back in Season 2, let's see it.

It's gotta be based on something tho...follow AcidTwister's example and SHOW US YOUR EVIDENCE!

The article about to be linked contains a pretty decent sized spoiler, so I'd recommend not clicking it if you wish not to know things about the final episodes. However, the article also contains a little information on season 2:

I take that to mean that Hiro is also in Season 2 (he says "us", and not "them" or another variation of the word), regardless of the rather old "spoilers" saying he wouldn't be in it, as he'd be in a different century. Things change over time, and I'm sure Kring got feedback regarding Hiro and how bad people wanted him back. So putting him in S2 is sort of a no brainer... but it's out there now. Straight from the time-stopper himself.

Many recent articles have come up discussing season 2. It sounds definitely confirmed to be called "Generations" and , I may be reading this wrong, it may take place in two different timelines.

The season will concentrate a little more on character episodes, like "Company Man", which may take a little bit of the epic feel away from the show, but Kring feels all in all it will help it. He says in Season 3 they'll have a more consistent filming schedule and will air pretty much like 24.

This one I'd take with a grain of salt... supposedly Missy Peregrym (candice)'s official website says she's confirmed for season 2. I didn't see it, but maybe one of you will.
