Maybe for storyline purposes/drama, the show went another way, but it would have been much easier if they had:
"Since powers are based within the brain, why don't we destroy, remove, or preserve Sylar's brain while he's lying there? Or at least check to see if he's still alive?"
"Peter, phase out while you explode!" or "Peter, teleport away to somewhere desolate before you explode!"
"Hey, Molly, Is Peter still alive? Oh, okay so where is he?"
Got any others??? Try to make it plausible within the continuity. i.e. Ando couldn't ask Molly if Hiro was still alive somewhere since he doesn't know about Molly or her power. But perhaps Kaito could have asked her. |

| In "Truth or Consequences": Peter needs to read Adam's mind, instead of just Victoria's. |

| I think he also needed to question Victoria about his parents. She basically called them out and he didn't even seem concerned or anything. I know if someone told me my parents were evil, I'd start asking some questions. |

| I'm with you on that, Matt -- at this point, we deserve a little friggin reveal!! They left us hangin with Kaito, we don't know a friggin thing about Mr. Petrelli other than what little we saw in the now well aged GN -- am I the only one aggravated at this? Like, wtf was Victoria's power? Did she in fact have one? If she left the company way back when, why is she in that damned picture??? I dunno, this season just got screwed by having to be cut short, or we may have found the answers to a lot of the long-standing questions we've had . . . They're gonna owe us big with the next one, or I'll be forced to think about considering ...possibly ...maybe ...potentially not watching-- ah, who am I kidding, i'd watch it anyway, because the moment I stopped would be the time they revealed all this stuff!! **sigh** Ima pimp-slap some striking writers, I swear . . . |

| Maybe so, stonegroove007, but they have to make us work for the answers. We don't get them right away, otherwise there'd be no point in watching the rest of the series. The beauty is that, like the Hydra's heads, once one question has been answered two more rise up in its place, drawing us on to the next episode. |

| I agree with Sikorsky. I mean what is the fun of just telling us the answers. As for what I felt would have been better with the show. I mean with Maya and Alejandro they could have introduced Sylar to the mix earlier that would have created a better plot. Although I love the Maya character. We were left hanging after seeing Monica a few times when she should have had her own story arch since everyone else seemed to. I felt that Monica's was to short. However I do not mean to offend but to answer the earlier questions that were posted by Stopman their is a reason why those things didn't occur. I mean in real life we all jump to conclusions, look at any of the other threads and you can see that. And those would have been the easy way to get answers which would have left us becoming bored with the show. Again I do not mean to offend I'm just bringing up my opinion. |

Exactly. And yeah, they didn't really develop Monica's story very well. The whole series was a bit rushed, actually, because they had to end it early because of the writer strike. Hopefully they'll do better next series. |

| Well, we at least deserve some answers other than the ones introduced in season 2. It would have increased the entertainment value a lot. Also, the writers strike doesn't really account for the fact that in season 2, ep2 through like ep 5 could have been put in just about two episodes instead and it wouldn't have mattered, maybe then they would have been considered better and they could have included more stuff at the end of the season. We don't need to see M&A running through central america for the umpteenth time, killing then reviving and so on, and we don't need Hiro in Japan for so long. I am really psyched about next season though, it looks like the Heroes I love is coming back! And sorry about all the complaining, I still loved watching S 2 as long as it's Heroes, they'll probably never screw it up enough that I can stop watching. |

I agree on most parts - but I really enjoyed the length of time Hiro spent in historical Japan. It allowed the story to fold out slowly, and helped to hide the fact that Kensai would turn out to be a jilted and vengeful ex-friend (at least for an episode or two). There were times early on when I thought Hiro would actually have to "cut out his own heart" in order to allow Kensai and Yaeko to be together, and the stories to all come true. That whole plotline worked for me, in the time they gave it. |

I agree Ambience, but that leisurely approach to the show was what made the ending feel so rushed.
At first, they were running the show like they had back in season 1. Slowly developing the scenes, introducing characters, and developing not only the plot, but the characters and background as well.
Now? I'd have to say that if they're going to stick to shortened seasons, then they need to stick to one story, and tell it until it's completion. Granted, there might be crossover from one story to the next, but then you can come back and revisit that scene later in the next story.
There was too much going on to be able to finish the entire thing in the truncated timetable they had. Plain and simple.
Let's see how well they do this next season! |

It is clear to me now that Peter is not very pro active about his powers.. He needs someone to tell him to use them or he just doesn't think to use them in creative (or even straight forward!) ways...
With this in mind, it is clear the reason he didn't phase through the vault is because he clung on to Adam's advice, "Ok, how do we get it?"
He used TK because Adam told him to. Good thing for Adam that Peter is so lost without leadership! |

| Yup, Peter is a sheep in dire need of a shepherd. Just no evil ones, we hope. |
