Just wondering (and I hope I'm posting in the right area): Eventually, some heroes may be eliminated. I assume there are more than these few in the world with powers. That having been said, what powers, unique, revamped, or otherwise, would you like to see?
My first bid: fire manipulation. The only problem is, what weakness or disability could you give the character other than something would have to be burning in order to manipulate? I mean, I don't want a direct Pyro clone here.
Thoughts/comments? |

Electronics control. They can manipulate electrical devies, but only simple ones. Like driving an RC car with there mind, answering the phone, turning lights on and off.
"Leave [super villain] or i'll turn the lights off in your house!"
Hehe.
Some form of energy attack that acts like fire but has different effects?
or
The ability to bring dead plant life back to life (the floor boards in the house begin to grow new branches that attack people).
or
Mind Control...make people beleive things that arn't realy there, like the Wraiths in Atlantis. |

Not a bad thought... Or what about some kind of supremem mechanical conscience, i.e. can look at something and understand, at the most basic level, how it works with no training? Could be useful.

How about the ability to have the strength of 10 little boys like MJ. lol j/k
I think it would be cool to at least have someone fast enough to at least run up to 100mph that way its not a rip off of Flash or Slowsilver I mean quicksilver who is still slow.
Maybe 1 shapeshifter would be neat to make the show have a twist to it. |

| Or the ability to find really good deals on brand-name merchandise. That could come in really handy. |

| what about the power to browse the internet and play online games in your mind and have unlimited hdd space in the mind to do it. Thats an awesome power. Though it will make that person fat and lazy as well but who cares, at least he will seem like a genious. |

I made up a neat superpowered character for a school project a couple years ago.... a little girl who is a telekinetic... but doesnt realize she has this power... instead it manifests itself as an imaginary friend she calls Brute, who protects her
I know the power is nothing original, but it's pretty tough to come up with a power that hasnt been done before... but there are tons of ways to toy with manifestations, limitations, weaknesses, etc |

That is an awesome twist. I would love to see that on a show. It would be an great debate as to whether she is merely moving the objects in her mind and associating it with her imaginary friend, or is she able to manifest Brute, and he is moving the objects.
I would like to see a woman in a coma that can project herself into the world. Her projection is able touch, feel, taste, see, hear, etc, but it cannot be hurt because it is not the real person. Other powers like teleportation, shapeshifting, etc would be reasonable extentions.
The first few times it happens, she discovers her body and thinks she is a ghost. |
