Discus what kinds of games you like, like for me, personally, it would have to be the shoot-'em-up-and-get-a-much-blood-to-spill kind of games, or ones that you have to really think about. But my friend or Video game buddy she loves really girly games like.. Race and Ride Barbie, Or Animal Crossings where she just aimlessly pulls weeds. I need games that get my blood pumping and I squeal every time I'm on the verge of dying and scream around saying "OMG DON'T KILL ME!!!" Heh. But if you ever play with me, I'm sometimes very vocal and other times I'm really quiet. Heh.
Games I'm enthralled with:
Champions of Norrath
Shadow of the Colossus
DDR
SSX Trick and SSX3
All the Racket and Clank games.. <3
What's your type of games? |

I used to be the one who likes all the stand-alone roleplaying games. Such as all those games in which took you days to beat so you get to see the story that was unfolded. But as of late I've grown to like all games that involve me playing against my friends or any other. I guess I tired of just playing by myself and letting the same stories be told.
Game currently playing:
Twisted Metal Block
Splinter Cell: Double Agent
Starcraft
Age of Empires
Soul Calibur 3 |

Tony Hawk's Project 8 - I've only got a PS2, but it still kicked several kinds of ass!
I'loved manhunt, and I'd be hooked on it, but I can't actually play it. - something about it triggers my nerves after a couple of minutes and I start vibrating so much I can't control the character!
Burnout Revenge ROCKS and I STILL play it with Ms.Slippy
All the Tekken & Soul blade/edge/calibur games are great for tournament play |

| I go in phases. I'll play a game for months and then put it down and not touch it again for months, Ultima Online, City of Heroes, Shadow of the Colossus are the ones I tend to come back to again and again. |

Alucard Hears Others Thoughts... I went to the doctor the other day. All this guy did was suck blood out of my neck. Never go see Dr. Acula.

Life. It's a bit expensive, but the pseudo-reality is really convincing!
Also DDR / RPGs / Arcade Shooters / All things Resident Evil! / Other Intelligent Mysteries & Thrillers
Played WoW for a stint, but MMO's are dangerously addictive for me so I steer clear |

Well, since completing Project 8 and Burnout Revenge, I haven't found another game that I've had any enjoyment out of.
So I'm building one. |

Love that game. Erudite Wizard forever.
For me, it's Oblivion, Guild Wars. You may have guessed I'm an RPG freak. |

Let me see..
Well, Final Fantasy, in all of it's forms.
Phantasy Star was another that I loved. Too bad it was only released on the Genesis. I'd like to see it re-released at some point. Pretty cool game.
Rogue Galaxy is another I really liked.
Same goes for the Dragon Quest series. I loved those as well!
Oh, and I'm also addicted to WoW. I've got a guild that keeps me busy, so when I'm not there or at work, then I'm reliving some of those aforementioned games.
Another thing: I've also got Rock Band for the 360. That's one highly addictive game as well for me, since I love music, and I love the challenge of keeping up with the game as far as their perception of timing and such.. Great group party game! |

Ooh! What's the drumming like for that? |

Drumming's not bad. There's four different settings, so you can either slowly work your way up into more difficult pieces, or jump right in, and see how well you fare. I personally also cut up some mousepads in order to cut down on the hard tapping that the drumsticks would make on the toms, but other than that, it's really quite good.
Guitar is basically just like Guitar Hero, and you can actually have two playing at once. One for the bass line, and one for lead guitar.
There's also singing which gets a bit confusing when the lyrics don't want to really mesh with the players, but most of that can be resolved by adjusting the configuration screen when you first start up the console.
I really love this game when I've got friends over, and they honestly love to come over and pretend to be rock heroes for a while.. It's really quite the entertaining game. |
