| I know Action Figure would jump all over me for saying this, but if this is true, I'll pretty much stop watching, unless this fella here is a good guy with a bad power. If he's just some evil git that's like "Mwaha, I can kill you." *blink" *dies*. Then, yeah...I'll be done with the show at that point. |

agreed, this is the most idiotic power EVER ..its bad enough we have sylar, who can freeze things, throw trucks around with just a flick of his wrists, can basically do anything with TK, (fly, superstrength, mini forcefield around him etc)
now you're gonna tell me someone can just "hmm...i want X to die" *dies* thats just too silly
(oh yea, not to mention every power we've seen to date has some "GOOD" about them, they can BENEFIT humanity..thats EVERY POWER including ones we've seen in graphic novels) most can say that radioactiveness+dehydration might not count, but used correctly they ARE...the ability to KILL just by thought...negative (even if u used it to kill only hitler-type people, it still doesnt benefit HUMANITY) |

Don't forget:
Wikipedia isn't completely infallable. There are lots of folks out there who can post and edit the site who may not be completely reliable. I tend to agree that every power that we've seen has at some point been beneficial to humanity. After all, even Sylar's ability could prove beneficial if he'd stop using it for himself, and for the greater good of the masses, but I don't think we're going to see that happen.
So my guess is that someone got a wild hair, was playing "Truth Or Dare" or something just as silly, and decided to post something just to see how many folks would react to it. |

| jerks... but that doesn't seem that un-believable... a power that could shut down a person's biological being through thought... like maybe he accidentally killed his mother or father and now he is afraid to use it again.... it would be cool i guess |

What blurb, where?.... Truth or dare.... Oh! It's wikipedia of course! The most unreliable piece of garbage....sorry!
Anyhow, I don't believe it.....
OTOH, when I was growing up and was imagining how ESP type powers would work, and would read novels with ESP powers described, people being able to think other people to death WASN'T that far fetched! If you assume for a moment that Molly's power can exist and is acceptable, here's how a hypothetical Wayne's (as WTTB) power would work:
He (or she) would be able to think about their target and then, with a thought, be able to stop their heart, by causing a blood vessel to explode, or causing a massive anneurism in the brain, or bursting somebody's aorta in the chest cavity or in the neck. Basically, it's TK over that sort of distance. Do you then consider this a Godlike power?
But the thing is, if we accept these kind of "Heroes", why shouldn't we accept this kind of power? It has been imagined by MANY fiction writers in the past? Wasn't PHOENIX in the X-Men Universe almost that powerful as well? Isn't Professor Xavier almost that powerful? Isn't Magneto (as long as metal is present) that powerful? So, even though, I think this particular mention in Wikipedia was completely Bogus, I dare say it can point us toward imagining what WTTB might be like!
Someone like Molly, that kill at a distance! I never thought of it before. |

| I'm not saying it isn't possible in the world of Heroes. What I'm saying is if they introduce a villain like that, the storytelling has gone down the crapper ^_^ |

How would Sylar go about getting that power?
*attempts to slice Wayne's head open*
Wayne: "Sylar, go DIAF"
*Sylar dies*
end of story. |

LOL Twist!
I don't think we'll see Sylar get that power. After all, Zach is going to be playing Spock, so he's only on the Season 2 episodes until that show gets filming. I think that our new WTTB is going to be some old-school baddie that OWI has been keeping tabs on, mainly to keep operatives from accidentally running into him, and causing them a shortage of manpower. That's why Molly knew that he was scary.. Mainly because they'd had her check in on him from time to time, keeping tabs on his whereabouts.
I'm thinking his power isn't going to be some type of "telekinetic kill" ability, more than some sort of focused mind control. After all, it has been proven that people under hypnosis can be ordered to kill themselves. Granted, depending on the willi being suggested against, some do rebel, and are able to ignore the command. However, the more open the mind is, the tougher it is to ignore the implanted suggestion. I'd say that his power is going to be one that he is able to implant his commands into the psyche, and those orders are very tough to mentally challenge. A kind of Eden-esque power, if you will...
Thus, the cycle continues.. |

| Well, I 'll accept Jorm's type of power as well. That would work very well. In fact we know, the CIA has been experimenting with implanting suggestions into operatives.... Jason Bourne is not very far from reality.... |
