Do you think he was on eof the original Heroes?

Do you think they will do a story with him in it?

Will he hook up with Maya?

^.^ I honestly think the writers would steer well clear of that one. I know I would!

But for the sake of discussion, I’d say no.

If the old book is right, Jesus didn’t evolve genetically like the show’s Heroes; he was ‘made’ by the big ol’ toy-maker in the sky, with a specific purpose in mind.
If the old book is wrong, he was just an exceptional man, with exceptional healing talent (not necessarily superhuman ability) – around whose legend a world-wide cult was formed.

...I guess under the latter scenario, he might fit into the NBC Heroes category... But yer, a bit risky for a TV show. Maybe one with low ratings that might benefit from some controversy, but Heroes has already established its niche.

Interesting thought tho.

To keep from becoming a national debate and problem, I'm pretty sure that the writers are going to steer well clear of this topic. However, Slippy had made a thread a while back that I was able to broach the subject about Jesus and the Disciples being actual "Heroes" in the terms and context of the series.

We've seen on the Yagamoto Fellowship website that historical figures and Legendary figures have been in their storyline. Takezo Kensei, Beowulf, Sir Galahad, Crazy Horse, and a couple more that I forget.. If you go by these characters, it should stand to reason that people such as Jesus, Bhudda, and Confucios should also be included as Heroes. After all, what has set them apart to make their stories go down through the ages as deeds of reknown?

Thus, I'd say yes, but it'll never hit the TV screen.

Hmmmm, the Messiah on Heroes. Kinda catchy, but unlikely. He had great mind control and reasoning abilities, but no one wants Oral Roberts to come after them, so I'd say we will never EVER see this storyline. But, hey, NBC may be feeling a bit risque this year.
