Yeah but other interviews with writers said that Tracy's interaction with Micah is going to lead her to re-evaluate her life and use her resources for the heroes... Now that is ambiguous enough to leave open the villain idea but it sounds like a stretch to me.
Thanks for the spoilers and pics, Kac... hmm, Sylar shapeshifting into something silly... maybe Matt forces Sylar to shapeshift into an animal. Maybe Sylar shapeshifts into MR. MUGGLES! I'm being totally serious by the way. Aside from shifting into a little boy or something, the next thing that comes to mind as 'silly' would be some sort of animal. Maybe Sylar shapeshifts into a pigeon, and then flies to the Deveaux rooftop with Claude's other pigeons. I'm being totally serious about that too... "An Invisible Thread"...
As for the spoiler pics, it looks like Mohinder, Matt, Ando, and Hiro are watching a fire burn, and Claire, HRG, and Angela are standing on the opposite side of the fire also watching it burn. The background looks like they are back in Coyote Sands. If they're indeed watching a fire, they might be burning the body of the character who dies. I haven't heard any spoiler information regarding Peter, Nathan, nor Sylar's characters for the next season, so it looks like one of these guys will be the one to leave us.
But let's think about this for a second - if Nathan is the one to die, and the Heroes are watching his body burn, WHERE is Peter?

I believe you are correct, Hero. However, I like your thought a lot Jorm, hence Kaito's need to fight with a sword, like HRG's need to carry a gun... because that's their only means of defense.

The only problem is that it wasn't a body "switch" ability. It was a body "hide" ability. Future Peter did not switch P. Peter and Jesse's bodies, he simply just hid Peter in Jesse's body. If Nathan were to be hidden in Sylar's body, or vice versa, and one of them died, chances are they would both die.

Well, lol, maybe you're a precog, but Simone's death, and Eden rendering her brain useless were very nice, and surprising 'twists' to me... as was P. Hiro meeting up with F. Hiro, oh and not to mention the mother of all PK theories coming to life - F. President Nathan actually being F. Sylar with Candice's illusion. My point is that Season 1 had something that neither Season 2, nor most of Season 3 had, but with Fuller back on board, we've already seen how the show can do a complete 180, and I expect nothing less from the finale. Though I'd rather see Nathan (as a character) die, it would be more enjoyable and exciting if it was someone else.

So.... a certain amount of people are speculating on Tracy being the Villian. I think that is great. I'm assuming she will take on a "Magneto like role" where as she is against the general public, but not 'abilities'; however, she will have to fight those people with abilities that see her as a threat to the public!!! I LIKE THAT A LOT!!! Her powers (and I say that loosely) would be awesome. Especially if they have developed until the stages of Freezing, Liquid, and Steam/Vapor!!! She would be quite a character to deal with...
I think that is probably the line the writers will follow; however, we still have an "earth" like power out there which could be something along the lines of: manipulate earth matter in whatever form necessary - rock to mud, mud to rock, dust, etc.... which would be very similar to Tracy's 'theorized' power except this one is "earth based".
(Four Elements??????? Earth, Wind, Fire, Air........?????????) Think about that and I think we're going to see a certain "Elemental Direction" here if you will.......
As far as Alice goes: I think she will eventually come around, but imagine how she will figure in to the Four Elements Theory of mine? Weather ALWAYS has an effect on the "elements"!!!!! Hmmmmmmmmmmm
If tracey is gonna be able to produce steam aswell then obviously here ability isn't really anything to do with ice. I'm thinking it would jus be a form of water manipulatioon? As we all know u get steam from boiling water not freezing water lol. Imagine if she could jus dry ur body out by draining the water from it? It soils be an Adam Monroe death.

I'll give you Eden and Future Hiro, but Simone I saw from a mile away (they had been saying for a while someone was dying, I'm sure I wasnt the only one saying its Simone) and I called the Future Nathan/Sylar thing 4 or 5 weeks in advance based on that scene where Peter had the dream in the jail cell that Nathan came to talk to him, and then when he turned and looked back it was Sylar saying something along the lines of "You don't understand anything about POWER." It was only further confirmed when Candice showed up. you remember that, don't you PK? You and jorm and def I guess are the only ones left from that era...
Point is, its Nathan. There will probably be some caveat to it, but it definately is NOT Peter (been confirmed he returns) and I believe they've confirmed Sylar. We always get disappointed on this stuff (Nathan is Claire's dad, ALL Peter/Sylar fights, Adam being alive in the present, Rebel...) I promise you that they would probably make it less obvious, but I'm sure NBC kinda tells them "look, people get confused on this stuff. Don't go over anyone's head. We don't need them thinking too hard during the Nissan commercials."
So as for the fire.... It could be Nathan's body, but that goes with something I've been meaning to ask. Unless Sylar destroys the body, how are they going to explain Claire NOT trying to heal him? More likely I'd say it is something else, and Peter is simply off doing something else. If it is (for some stupid reason) Nathan, then I could imagine Peter wouldnt want to hang out and watch, but just because someone isnt in the pictures doesnt mean they arent there.
oohh nice one. i forgot about that...if someone close to claire died (peter, angela, hrg, etc) then she'd want to give them her blood and bring them back....sylar (or presumable any killer for that matter) would KNOW that. and dispose of the body either burning it till theres nothing left or like...tom's power (turning it to dust/disintegrating it whatever)
also...as far as future sylar being future nathan....i remember it pretty darn CLEARLY. what happened was there was a commercial before 5yg aired, and it showed nathan saying something...i dont think it was pk i think it was action. they said something like "wow, nathan REALLY sounded like sylar saying that...what if thats sylar using candice's power"

After watching the penultimate episode of "Volume Four: Fugitives" on NBC's Heroes last week, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised when a dashing young man in a FedEx uniform delivered a surprise package to my doorstep later in the week. Inside was a rough cut of "An Invisible Thread," the season finale of Heroes. Now this wasn't nearly as rough as the X-Men Origins: Wolverine debacle floating around the interwebs, but neither was it the completely polished version we'll see this upcoming Monday at 9:00 PM ET.
Overall, I found myself a little disappointed as I've been with every volume finale we've had since the very beginning. And admittedly, I might just be wanting something a little bit more than what we're able to get here. As for deaths and new beginnings, those we do get. I'll tell you this: one person who I felt certain was going to die didn't. One person who I thought as a possibility to die did ... but sort of didn't. But really did. The only hint I'll give you is Marvel's first Exiles series.
There were some good action sequences in this episode. As expected, the gang was going to get to Washington to deal with Sylar impersonating Nathan, and deal with that they did (though more behind closed doors than I would have liked). Danko too was dealt with, as he had to be. After all, he embodied the whole core of the volume, and you can't move on without addressing the symbol of this phase in your development.
Two things stood out to me while watching the episode. There was one very conspicuous absence in the episode, and I'm not sure what that means. Hopefully, it just means we'll get more later. The other thing that stood out is that Hiro and Ando always seem to stick out like sore thumbs when the gang gets together. They really don't hang out with the others that much, and don't have any of those relationship connections. It's odd, and I'm not sure why they haven't been more integrated.
We did get a tease of "Volume Five," which has a very good subtitle. Of course, "Fugitives" was a very good subtitle and they didn't really give us enough of that. After that plane crash, they were on the run for maybe an episode. When I think of fugitives, I'm thinking more the second season of Prison Break. This was just a lot of talking and whining, which seems to be the rut Heroes falls into.
I can tell you that there are two important moments in the teaser. There is an important return, which most people are expecting, setting up something that could work out very well for the series. The other key moment was really more inevitable, considering how "Volume Four" ended. Of course it's going to happen, it's like a ticking time bomb at this point. It's a matter of when, not if. Hopefully, though, not too soon. A slow burn will be a lot better on this one.
The teaser was also a lot more vague than in volumes past. Even the title is open to vast interpretation. I wonder if this was intentional to allow them the hiatus to really focus on putting this show back on track and making sure that season four redeems the show, improving on seasons two and three tremendously. Ultimately, I remain optimistic about the future. I do wish they'd be a little more bloodthirsty on the show as originally planned. Some more key deaths in this core group of characters wouldn't hurt anything. I can name some names!

With the allusion to Marvel's "Exiles" it actually DOES sound like the body insertion ability may be used. In Exiles, Morph (a character that shapeshifts) has his body posessed by the big bad, and has to learn to live with it.
Sylar into Nathan? Hm...
All of this is assuming this guy ACTUALLY saw the last episode. He reveals so little (re: nothing) that you or I could have written this "review" with the spoilers we know. Ever notice how these guys claim to see episodes, and then give nothing away?
As for the other teaser moment he talks about, it sounds like Washington blowing up to me.

Ok here's what I gathered from that spoiler,
In the end Nathan dies, gets put into Sylar by Matt and we eneter to the next Volume giving us a little bit of some thing to expect for the next one. Sylar reveals himself showing he may be back slowly. I can see Nathan getting some of his personality and abilitys, but not knowing. Than maybe every few episodes we get to see some of our favorite killer and killing some people without Nathan knowing. That I can see happing for the next Volume.
