I cant see Sylar w/ time/space manipulation. We know Claire keeps on trucking because Jack Coleman said she takes a more proactive stance this season. We've heard similar about Peter (present peter). Its a real stretch to say "show's biggest star" and it not mean Hiro, Peter, or Claire.

A truly wonderful theory, Action man. If that was the case, it'd be kind of ironic for our two main Future characters... Future Hiro dies in the process of going back to help Present Hiro. Future Peter dies in the Present timeline.

Personally, me neither... but if he obtains mimicry from Future Peter, Sylar's bound to get time/space at some point in this season, which again I wouldn't like because it would give the writers too much free reign in terms of what they could then do with the villain. If Present Hiro's gonna go down, it's going to be at the hands of someone who can't acquire his ability.

Eh, IMO, yes and no. I still think it could just as easily mean the 'person whose been in the most movies/shows, etc' as much as it could be the 'most beloved character by fans.'
After all, in the ComicCon preview, Bob, like, wasn't in it at all. It seemed as if Angela was calling the shots, which would mean that Bob is 'out of commission.'
Then again, Angela calling the shots could be part of that dream sequence, but judging by the lines she was saying (the escapees, etc), I think that was part of the present timeline, which to me means Bob will be killed sometime soon.

Which clip are you referring too? For some reason that does ring a bell. I think I saw Matt with his head sliced off somewhere, but maybe that was in another one of my crazy Heroes dreams, lol.
I actually think it would be a very smart writing move to have Sylar acquire Matt's ability. Here's why:
Aside from his lust for power, I think the major thing that would hold Sylar (or anybody for that matter) back from forming a team of villains would be TRUST. With Matt's ability, Sylar could read minds. If you couple that with super-hearing (which allows him to hear heart rates and sense fear), Sylar would essentially be able to know who he could trust and who would stab him in the back.
As for my choices regarding who will get the slice, Future Hiro is off the list. Bob has claimed #1, and I'm going with Kac/Action and say Matt as #2.
And for the record, despite his 'death' in the GN, I still think Matt Neuenberg will make an appearance in Season 3 and will become one of Sylar's cronies. But that's another story, for another day

I've been told that Kirsten Bell has another five episodes on the show so I think that cancels out the possibility that she will be get her head sliced off. I'm starting to swing over to Bob as well. He is a powerless position, and Sylar, hungry for the powers of other villains, comes to him and give him an ultimatum and then when Bob doesn't (does?) comply, he gets his butchering ass into gear.
As for HRG's unusual partner, it could be anyone.
Mohinder would be interesting, for the mere fact that he shot HRG. But unusual? Not by any means.
Claire. She will be exceedingly proactive this season (one wonders what she will do about school!) but I can see an awesome father/daughter duo springing to life. They will learn to really trust one another (Volume Two set them back again which was annoying!) and it would be like The Company Man in almost every episode. The only reason I hold back on that is because I'm assuming the actors have only read the first couple of scripts. HRG is being held captive and needs to find a way out. So unless Claire is in there with him, I don't see this paring happening initially.
Which brings me to Sylar. Wanting to obtain some more powers, he needs HRG. Jack did at one point say HRG will escape, but at a cost. What if it is to help Sylar in his power scheming ways? or to at least turn a blind eye to it?
My next candidate is Elle. Again they have this history that would be great to explore. He didn't want Claire turning into her, and now he's working with her, and even possibly protecting her. This great cost though could then up being Elle's life, as she may die trying to help HRG escape. She could die a Hero in a sense. But again this is another relationship I would love to see explored.
Gah I need to rush off to work! I'll look at some other candidates later.

As for HRG's partner, I'm thinking it's Elle - just solely based on the interaction between HRG and Elle during the ComicCon preview... but that's all I'm going by...
In a spoiler, the purpose of the founders meeting on the rooftop [the photo] is going to be revealed. However, i cannot remember if it is this season. Well, kristen said this season will answer some ofthe big plotholes but i hope they choose better stuff to answer.
Oh yeah, i think either jack coleman , Adrian, or Masi reveled it. Maybe kristen dos santos said it.
I want them to answer the mystery surrounding the photo and a lot of the 12 founders of the company. Gosh if it is done so darn well it could be totally AWESOME!
With the way that last season eroded they have work to do because the plot-holes are the size of potholes on a poorly paved road during a rainstorm.
I'm curious as to how they maintain a believable continuity. Remember how awful last season started. And that was after a normal amount of time off. It seems like they'd be better off starting with a whole new crisis, a-la "24", that builds up, gets everyone involved, and lets us learn about what happened to the characters as we see them solving believable problems- each connected, somehow, to the over-arching story.
A bunch of villains escaping could solve the start, but where they go from there...?
You also have to keep in mind this is "Heroes" last season probably, unless they bring the ratings. "Dancing with the Stars" which did not go on hiatus because of the writer's strike, has been consistently kicking Heroes' behind. Additionally, "24" is coming back next January.
"Heroes" needs to bring it and needs to bring it BIG TIME.
Personally, I am not so sure, about the "crisis" idea. What I would like is this: "If Tim Kring really put a series bible together, AND the show has somewhere it wants to go, regardless of what happens during the trip, then I think the show is ready for a ratings increase."
Look at what happened to "Lost". They have a target of what they are doing. And ever since the end of Season 3, all of this Season 4 has really taken it up a notch. "Lost" has become beyond addictive as a show. That's how good it is.
Can "Heroes" duplicate this success?
I think it really doesn't matter who they kill. Personally, I would love it if a main character like Peter, or Hiro or Claire was killed. This gives the show substance. If we're sitting here debating why we need this particular favorite to stay on AND not die, then we got the concept all wrong. I think Kring's original idea of killing cast members ALL the time, would actually work better. But, similarly, you can't make Sylar so powerful that nobody can beat him.
i agree, i like lost but....lets just say i've never seen lost till about a month ago, in which i marathon'd it and caught up now to where i can see the s4 finale live. that being said
THE ONLY REASON I STARTED TO WATCH....(sorry for the caps) is because...i heard the writers pretty much had the entire series made before s1 filmed...like "here we are, an entire story, takes 6 seasons to tell...beginning to end, no holes etc" i am a person who watches for plot holes n stuff...lost is a well written show
point is, if kring makes the series bible thing= AWESOME, the show would kick Butt!
that being said...i REALLLLLLLLY doubt its just gonna last one more season. hiros err, heroes is so frickin cool....i mean WORLDWIDE cool. i'm assuming even if its utter crap, it'll go 2-3 more seasons.
kring, please...series bible, it MUST be done, i dont care what kind of shenanigans happens or who u kill, if u have a bible then it'll get explained ala lost...in lost= "what the heck!" but then a few episodes/seasons later it explains, just like "we're the survivors of oceanic 815" "no WE'RE the survivors of oceanic 815" u dont find out till a season later (tail section survivors) but..at the time, i was thinking "what the...time travel? parallel dimension bs?"
heroes can do this, i dont mind waiting forever for answers...as long as i get them
sylar vs peter again should be realllly built up for like 2 seasons minimum or something, they need to make alotttt of fans, get WAAY more budget, and do it right. it'd be such a payoff
