Let me try again.....Remember, I'm NOT dealing in absolutes....there is no "black and white"...it's all shades of grey.

Story 1....Good v. Evil....result....no true victory for either side
Story 2....Good v. Evil....result....no true victory for either side.

When good battles evil, who loses? Everybody who's an incidental part of the battle.

Baiame created the world. In creating the world, he made a thing that can be destroyed, that can feel pain....that can be the victim of evil. The result of his "goodness" is the possibility of evil.
Marmoo destroyed the world. In destroying the world, he created a world where the simplest "good" becomes important, beautiful. He allowed goodness to have meaning

It's SOOOO much deeper than "good v. evil"
Out of goodness can come evil, and out of evil can come good.

Anything? Anyone?

I agree with what you're saying, although I interpret it a little differently. Instead of shades of gray, I think of it as something being both black and white but not blended.

That's still not a concept unique to the Uluru story, but it could be what the writers are trying to get at. What superhero has not had an arch-nemesis? Otherwise, the hero wouldn't have much to do.

Yeah, I shouldn't have said "shades of gray"....but you get me, and that matters to me, coz I was seriously beginning to think my brain was skewed!

Man that really is Heavy stuff. I wonder at the present rate heroes is carrying on if they will ever take a chance to debut Uluru.
