depends on your concept of time
I'm just hoping that they continue the free-form style of time travel storytelling that they are going with now... if they start getting into any paradox crap, I'll be disappointed... it'll be refreshing to see a story with time travel that DOESNT involve paradox |

| Well it's almost impossible to travel time without causing a paradox...what if Hiro killed himself in the past? O_o |

Well he already froze time...so he's technically not in THAT time per se. So that clears that paradox.
But he's SylaR! |

depends on your concept of time... if it's just one straight line with Hiro jumping to different points on the same line, then yes
but it's much more convenient to imagine that time branches into parallels in which case there is little trouble... every time one time travels, they create/enter another parallel and every Hiro is a unique instance of himself... Hiro could go back in time and kill himself... there would be no future Hiro in that time parallel... but the self-killing Hiro would still continue to exist as a unique and independent instance of himself |

| OK I caught it! the reason they got kicked out of the casino can and most likely is because if you rewatch the episode you will see that hiro did not go back to the right side of ando when he traded his cards and that other guys cards. He froze time on ando's right or our left then unfreezes on ando's left or our right. That is why when time unfreezes ando looks to his right and had to turn to the other side after, because he was expecting him to still be there. |

Okay, one by one.
1)He could breath when he stopped time becuase he moves the air in and out of his lungs, much like he could move the girl, or straighten the drink. Viola!
2)Native Americans do not own all the casinos in Vegas. Now out here in NC they do, but that has to do with the fact that casinos are legal only on reservations, in this state. The entire state of Nevada is legal for gambling. So no you don't have to be Native American.... yes I realize most of that discussion was either retorical or just silly but I felt the air needed clearing on that one. haha!
3)Hiro was thrown out of the casino for cheating, but I don't think they really knew how he did it. Just that he did. The roulette table was an easy thing because he would catch the ball half way and put it where he wanted. As long as the wheel was in spin you couldn't tell. Poker was too much, and he was asking for trouble! He should have stopped time to see what cards everyone had, not take em!! Silly Hiro! |

| He should have stuck to the roulette. 32 to 1 odds, are pretty darn good! Either case, he could have "lost" a few hands/bets, to make it look more credible. And to swap cards? that's just dumb. |
