open to all theoies mine is that that many heroes connected ti gether at once is overloadinghim but he doesnt blow up then i think that their is something else that happens because if thats a futureistic dream or fore shadowing i think that they would have had him with his scar yes??? I also think that it is possible that he was seeing it in the eyes of ted (Dude Nukem) and it still maybe ted that blows up all but HIGHLY unlikely seeing as hiro SAW A BOMB
but Peter is guaranteed to be in the future. Hiro said "I almost didn't recognize you with your scar". So there's more to this than we've seen.
That's a very good point. I didn't think of that...So maybe he's putting himself in the place of someone else in his vision? It would make sense that he would "overload" his powers, but if he really is guranteed a future, maybe that isn't him.
Also, does the significance of the city looking like it's deserted mean anything? Like there was a warning before hand? Also, his brother walks up to him right away, very casually, too. I thought he was going to fly him up into the air, heh.
First off, Hiro did not see a bomb, all he saw was the mushroom cloud, that could be caused by someone going nuclear. I think that it is not going to be Peter that explodes but someone else. Maybe someone we have not seen yet, at least that is what I hope.
Kring will also soon reveal just who, or what, is responsible for the nuclear explosion that levels New York in the near future. The possibilities will leave fans stunned.
"We've introduced Sprague [Matthew John Armstrong], who is radioactive and seems to be getting worse," he continues. "But we'll posit another theory that it's Peter [Milo Ventimiglia]. He's having so much trouble absorbing the powers around him that he goes into a coma."
The storyline of --known as H.R.G. for the horn-rimmed glasses he wears--will continue, with an unusual twist. Kring says one of the Heroes will begin working for him.
"[Someone] will be seduced into the web of horn-rimmed glasses," Kring tells the magazine. "We're keeping things ambiguous with H.R.G. There's a lot of uncertainty as to just how bad he really is, or where his allegiance really lies. He seems to be a very loving father, so the audience should feel torn about him."
If you saw an explosion would you say "i saw a bomb" or "i was what may have been a bomb or been a radioactive man that went nuclear" ?? lol.
Anyway I don't think peter is the bomb anyway. In the dream the others seem to know he is going to explode, if they do then why are they near him? Wouldn't they plan on being far away so they don't all die? Since they did know why would they bring him to new york instead of some far away place? The other reason they must know is that there are no people around, someone most have told them all to get out of there. So I think there is definitely more going on here than just a simple prophecy (hehe simple prophecy).
I'm not sure what but i think peter might have absorbed some of Sylar's abilities and that is whats effecting his dreams. Possibly sylar has some sort of dream control that he is using to mess with peters head to get peter to do things thinking they are based on seeing the future.
possible but not probable becuase he seems to have mild clairvoyancy before he meat sylar I have to also say that if you saw an explosion youd say you SAW an EXPLOSION maybe thats just me
he didnt see a bomb the painting shows a person blowing up and look at the dream thing peter had, by the way he did that without isaac and he blew up without ted if you noticed
first of all i am almost positive that peter blows up NYC due to the fact that in the preview he almost blows up and then he pulls all that him blowing up back in and he is okay I think that he evolves his power still thinks that its ted
regardless I dont believe peter is going to blow up NY because if he was the bomb future hiro would've stopped him then.... we still dont know how claire makes the world saved... and peter still isn't in NY yet so he can't really blow it up yet. Also The pic they have of peter explodin makes it look like he stopped himself. I dont think it's what we think cuz so far we've always been wrong. from issac dying down to peter being sylar I mean it's never what we think..damn those writers!!
Ok, so there were several things that didn't make sense in Peter's dream/preumunition. #1 being why the city was totally empty and #2 why were all the heroes there.
But casting this aside for a moment and consider Nathan. I think he has more to do with "the bomb" than Peter.
In the scene Peter is sort of wandering around the deserted town, when suddenly we see the cop directing the heroes back as Peter walks by. One of the last ones out of the area is Claire, who looks back behind her. Now Peter looks up and sees the "Nathan for congress" sign. Ok, so Peter walks to his spot and who comes up to see him? Nathan, totally calm and cool despite everyone elses fear. He walks up to his bro who starts to glow and ignite.
I have no idea how/why Nathan would be a part of this, but I didnt see anyone thinking of him. So I'm just tossing this tid-bit out there for y'all to chew on a bit.
I think you all need to also take into account that Peter in this instance, for lack of a better visual, is like Phoenix from X-Men. Highly able to control things, yet vast amounts of untapped power. If this were to burst open, how would he manage to channel that power? Kind of frightening, if you ask me. Anyway, I like the idea that an empath can also be able to 'channel' sights.. If Peter were seeing this through Ted's eyes, that would also explain much. How about Peter being able to try to control Ted, and failing? Thus the reason he was able to see through Ted's eyes, but still feel like he was right there, and experiencing the entire thing? Deep thoughts to think about folks..
I wouldn't make too much of that dream sequence right now. He's been having strange dreams that have some prophetic value, but at the same time, it could be some subconscious warning that his powers can get out of control.
