The preview of Heroes for next week was shown in "Quicktime-style" Windows Vista windows that didn't fill the screen and were shown at an isometric angle. What did you think about this advertising gimmick?
What an odd form of product placement,
instead of displaying the product on the show
they display the show on the product.
Can't say that I approve of either.
If I remember correctly, locally we had Apple commercials during Heroes and then the Vista preview. The Apple commercial was the one with the security guy behind the PC (Allow? or Not Allow?) showing the flaws of Vista. Those Mac commercials really have me wanting to try out a Mac.
Do I notice a "V" theme here? Nissan's car starts with a V, now there is the Vista, Hiro and Ando are back in Vegas...

Don't forget the fact that we're all "Victims" because we have to sit here and watch this crap, when all we wanna do is enjoy Heroes. Aren't commercials enough? I thought they stopped doing product placement in the fifties. It's starting to remind me of that scene in The Truman Show, now...
