Yeah, I wonder what route they'll go down to explain HOW eating a brain can alter your own brain/genetic structure/whatever......it still doesn't gel right with me, even given my earlier capitulations on the subject. |

Any thoughts? |
No he uses his Telekinesis to cut around the Brain. Then he eates it because when they show the heads when he is done there is no brain. |

| You know i'm all for sylar eating brains and all...i just have a feeling we might be let down a bit. I'm pretty sure it was in the last entertainment weekly that they had an article on linderman which i addressed in other posts. But in the sidebar Tim Kring was asked a question about sylar's brains and if he ate them. His answer was: "That's the popular notion....but we'll be seeing what sylar does to the brains in early season 2." Ok i think that's paraphrased a LITTLE bit, but i just have a feeling kring might not let it be that he actually eats them since that's what everyone wants. He seems to like to wow everyone. And maybe they don't even know yet, that's why they're waiting til season 2. And it is possible that sylar doesn't have to EAT them he could just study them. I mean if he can see how things should work, couldn't he just study the brain thoroughly, meaning taking it out, and then using his own body to rearrange dna or release chemicals or something crazy to be able to use that power. And his dna becomes corrupted because he keeps doing it. Or what if he does eat that certain part of the brain but must also study the rest of the brain in order to see how the whole brain worked in conjunction with that part. that would be pretty cool. Am i REALLY crazy or just a little bit? |

| I still think he eats the brains. If he just studies them or eats a small portion, then where are the remainder of the brains from all his crime scenes? If he was discarding them, you'd think they would turn up somewhere. I think he's been moving around to quickly to be storing them somewhere. |

Just because the brain is missing when he's done doesn't mean that he eats it. Even though it's been somewhat confirmed that Sylar probably eats a portion of the brain, for all we know he might be just chopping the rest of it up, putting the pieces in little Ziplock snack bags, and saving them to give to children on Halloween. That's my theory.  |

Well, perhaps that would have been a good question for investigators before Sylar killed Zane Taylor. Right now, Sylar can just deatomize (is that a word?) the brains/bodies to remove all evidence.
And that, my friends, was Sylar's first mistake in my opinion - he didn't use Zane's power on Zane's dead body. Thus, Mohinder saw the picture of Zane's body in the newpaper, and Sylar is back to being alone and finding specials by himself (I mean, not that he REALLY needed Mohinder anyway, but it would have made things easier and faster).
I guess my question now (I'll admit, it's off-topic, but I'd like a quick one or two post response if we could get one:)) is can Zane's power break the atomic structure of anything? Or only inorganic objects? Or only metal? Hmmm.... |
