Assuming he IS after their brains for whatever reason, those cuts have 2 things to be noticed. While motive's up for grabs, there's only one person I can think of right now. And what better way to escape the FBI than to warp two weeks into the future?



You're suggesting that Hiro is Sylar? nay Aren't you forgetting that he was in Japan when we first saw his victims?


Yeah, I forgot that he can't teleport or go back in time or anything.

Anyway, I was just toying with the idea. And to Gatsurendo: katana's are perfectly capable of slicing through bone very precisely. If a big bulky axe can do it, a swift, better crafted sword can do it just as well, if not cleaner. You just have to keep them rather sharp, which wouldn't be beyond reason for a time-shifting ninja.

Also another idea to toy around with: could he have been afraid of causing a rift because he was with peter? Peter, not knowing what power he had absorbed, may have accidentally triggered a rift if he wasn't careful. Hiro didn't seem too opposed to the idea of going back in time for his "do-overs", and wouldn't that have the same exact risk of a rift?

lets just say it was a Scalpel which is the only true tool that can cut that precise. I am not going to argue over a stupid kitana since I have been trained with one and know pretty well what one is capable of. I will just say that if sylar really wanted to EAT a brain like others say, then why even cut a precision cut. Why not just blow up the head and eat away. He is obviously taking the brains for their abilities not to eat for them. That is where this topic should stay. We should be thinking more along the likes of a scalpel.

maybe someone has psylockish powers (sp?)...that could quickly and precisly cut through bone...

quick thought: im guessing whoever is slicing domes open is the same person that gave peter his future scar...(but thats for a different thread)

Who's "aching"? I'm just pointing out that what katanas do in real life has little bearing on what they can do in TV shows. And then you didn't like my example, so I gave you a new one.

On a completely different subject, I'd honestly like to hear what else you seem to have to say about the actual method of the head-severing, and I'm sure everyone else in the thread would too. It's not often somebody in a spoiler forum says that they don't want to talk about something because it could be spoilers. So I'm REALLY curious to know what you think would be too spoiler for a spoiler thread. Very Happy yeah If it isn't a scalpel or a sword or a blade of some kind, what do you think it is? A telekinetic force or something?

Everyone's theory is plausible until disproven by factual evidence, and part of the fun with theories is turning them over in your head and discussing them with other members. I assure you, sir, that I'm merely conversing. Any "childish" or condescending tone you are reading into my posts is in no part mine.

I'm continuing to talk about it because this is a forum where one talks about things. And I'm genuinely interested in what you just posted. Did you expect people to not be interested in a post that says everything we're talking about is entirely the wrong line of thought but refuses to elaborate because you don't want to post spoilers? This is a spoiler thread in a spoiler forum, that's what we're all here for, don't leave us hanging.



Something I just wondered: Have the tops of the heads ever been found? I can't recall if the tops of the heads were seen at the crime scenes or not.
