it is kind of hard to tell exactly what we are seeing. This is according to Wiki
a stylized image of the shadowy man in the baseball cap (dressed as "sylar" was when matt shot him) was found on a painting in Isaac's apartment. When Peter finished the painting, the man was standing over the mutilated body of a cheerleader.

What about the picture?
Do you wonder how come she died? Because I did. If she regenerates anyway, then why do they have to save her? And what could be in the picture that is going to help Peter find her?
Every thing just makes more questions. AHHHHHH! |

Well she can die! If you remember she was techincally dead till that piece of wood was removed from the brain. so if her brain is taken she will be dead.
I would love to know what that missing painting is about and where issac went off to. |

| Isaac was taken by HRG's team. Remember he ordered Sureshe's neighbor to take him. |

Good point! I had always thought that Claire would basically live on forever. But, if Sylar took her brain, she certainly wouldn't be able to live from there. I wonder if he'd be able to get into her head to get her brain out before her skull went to heal itself! |

Heres a question. Lets assume that her brain will NEVER decompose. So if we put her brain in a skeletons skull.. would the skeleton recreate itself to a full grown human?
And is claire immortal? Our bodies age by our cells splitting continously. Would she have the power to "repair" her cells and reverse aging?
I myself, am terrified of getting old and dying. If there was a power of immortallity, that would def be for me. |

| The way I see it, she can die as long as whatever killed her is still intact. She was dead before the wood was removed. So if she was shot in the heart & the bullet stayed lodged, she could stay dead. Its probably the same if she was decapitated & such also. |

Mybae it's like the movie Highlander. In the movie a Highlander can only trully die if thier head is cut off. Of course if it is like the movie then whoever cuts off the head inherits that persons skills and powers.
There can be only one! |

| I don't believe she was "dead" as we currently define it IRL. I think that her body processes were in a form of stasis (a genetic screen-saver?). Of course, there was too short of a span to determine if there had been any cellular decay, but perhaps Kring will release the rights (if he owns them) to others to write Heroes novellas &/or short stories (as long as continuity is maintained I think it would be uber-cool). I personally would love to do some professional writing, but then I could never come to web-sites like this anymore for threat of exposing spoilers (that would NOT be uber-cool), I also would not be able to enjoy the magic of watching the story line unfold because I would have too much background information... <<sigh>> be careful what you wish for... |

| Agreeing with Blob, I think if they'd looked they would have found some level of brain activity in Claire, but I doubt it's regular practice to look for brain activity in corpses pulled out of rivers. |

Really? I thought there was still some brain activity for like, 48 hours after death? But Claire is supposedly immortal, so why does it matter?
Sorry if this has already been discussed, but its my first post! YAY FOR HEROES! |

She's probably not immortal, certain types of chemical/biological/radiological agents may be able to kill her, as could a massive total-obliteration trauma (car sized meteor-strike, anyone?).
True immortality would be horrible if you were imprisoned with no way to escape (cave in, locked in vault & sunk to the bottom of San Marianas Trench, etc.). I believe eternal boredom is the very definition of Hell. |
