(Note: I'm pretty sure I have identified the correct scene but it's possible I picked the wrong one. I don't have a copy lying around where I can review this.)
In scenes when Hiro freezes time to change Ando's cards at poker in the Montecito, Hiro's position when he stopped time was behind Ando's right shoulder (screen left.) When he unfroze time, he was behind Ando's left shoulder (screen right.)
Since nobody else in the scene experiences time in the way Hiro does, the rest of the people in the scene (and the security cameras in the Montecito) should percieve Hiro as having jumped through space (teleporting) from one spot behind Ando to another.
Additionally, such a perception would occur at the same time that the cards they were holding (in front of their faces) would have changed.
Poker players routinely watch their opponents for "tells" in order to judge each hand. But apparently nobody saw Hiro teleport at the exact time that their poker hands would have changed... and nobody cried foul immediately.
Granted, nobody cried foul, but that doesn't mean they didn't notice it
imagine if you were to say "HEY.....THESE AREN'T THE CARDS I HAD 5 SECONDS AGO!!!!" Or if you were to say "HEY, YOU WERE ON HIS LEFT SHOULD WHEN I BLINKED! people would think you were absolutely insane
So yes, I see the point of your nit, but at the same time, I think they did a good enough job with the dude going after hiro and ando, knowing that they did something...regardless of how they could have possibly done it
I haven't been able to go through all of the posts, so I apologize if this was posted already, but anyways...
How about this for a continuity error:
The series is taking place in 2006, right? After all, when Hiro looks at his watch in Chapter 2, it says 10-2-06, if I remember correctly.
So, if this is the case, then shouldn't "Five Years Gone" be taking place in 2011 and NOT 2012? We may be in 2007 right now, but the Heroes aren't. In the preview we are told 2012, and we are also told that Hiro teleports to sometime around the date of the explosion, which is November 8th. So that means that he teleports to about November 8th, 2012.
Okay, I got one, and it's probably more of a continuity thing, but do Hiro and Ando ever sleep, shower, or change their clothes?? If so, where (being as they don't have an american residence)??
Also with Hiro, he's lived technically months longer than any of the other hiros, so if he hasn't showered, man would he have a pungent odor

Unless it's to stop for waffles, our Hiro and Ando never need to eat
Oddly enough I never thought of that. But as Isaac is a painter wouldn't he have plenty of brushes to be used?
Also, as far as I can see, there's no holes for where the brushes were. Perhaps this is the same prop used in episode 2 and the part where Sylar used the brushes on him was thought up later and not added to the prop.

I can't say 'everyone'... it never even ocurred to me that he might have gotten the scar at Homecoming. I al,ways assumed (incorrectly, as it turned out) that Hiro and Peter and the others had later joined up into a big Uperhero legion - very Marvel - and that somewhere in Peter's heroing he'd been scarred before meeting Hiro, or so soon after that that was how Hiro rfemembered him.
However, that's a coool good point - I kinda wish I'd been mistaken in the way you thought, just so that could be pointed out!
Great question. One could assume Sylar pulled them out to paint with, as he was painting after he killed Isaac.
Nope, in the scene where he is painting him self has President, the camera pans up from Isaac still nailed to the floor with the brushes to Sylar happily painting away with a grin on his face.

Ah, you're right. Hmm...perhaps an item for the nitpick thread?

Didn't he use those brushes to pin Isaac to the floor with TK??
