Personally, I doubt that the killer is the guy that Mohinder met with... the body build is completely off.
And Sylar was originally an older guy with a beard, if you go by who the had playing him originally.
Yeah, but if you watch episode 3 and pause it before Matt shoots him in the police station, it at least somewhat looks like Zach Quinto, specifically the body.
The guy that killed Kaito is thin and not incredibly tall.
This new guy that Mohinder met with is a little overweight and pretty tall.
True, but the guy also had a beard. Sylar's got almost no facial hair whatsoever.

Sylar had facial hair in "Godsend" and "The Fix" when he was in his Primatech cell. The facial hair on him in episode 3 could have been attributed to the fact that he hadn't shaved in a while, lol.
I had considered Angela, but no one saw her find that picture. Seems stupid to pretend to find it by yourself.
I agree... if they didn't show us the scene of Angela finding her picture, then I would think that the idea of her being behind the killing was plausible.

He never had more facial hair than most guys get after a day of not shaving. He'd have to go a pretty long while without it. Not to mention, you could actually see the guy if you brighten the screenshots up, and the beard was actually grayish. Also, based on the voice from the pilot, and the first few episodes' voicemails to Chandra, they had someone entirely different in mind for Sylar. Someone older. Heck, in the pilot, Sylar was a religious nut. He never even mentions it in the show past the point where they actually had him cast, and decided how he worked.
I still have to stick with Kensei (pending what his power turns out to be) but he's not alone, which I'll explain in a moment. And I know I'm using pieces of other theories here so I won't claim it entirely as original.
If his power is that he doesn't get injured...at all, to the extent that he doesn't even age (because that is really just the body breaking down) it would essentially make him immortal. But that would be all as far as powers go. It would explain the method of killing as he has no power to use to that effect. And he fits the description.
I think Kaito asked for a sword just to keep Ando busy and out of danger. Otherwise he'd have gone for the sword himself and had it in his possession in half the time.
Now, for him not acting alone. I'm thinking that he may have a partner, which is plausible because, as Linderman had said, the original group was divided, not that just one person left. I think the partner is one of the 7 that we haven't seen and is also the one haunting Molly because it seems this person has power at least similar to Molly's in that he/she can 'see' other specials. So this person is locating people (in this case Kaito) and Kensei is doing the killing.

That's all true, but what I was trying to get at was solely the body figure of the person that pushed Kaito off the roof - unless Stephen Tobolowsky's character can shapeshift in addition to possessing a Midas touch, it looked nothing like him. Even though the old Sylar actor was older and had more facial hair, you add a trench coat, a baseball cap, and a cleverly placed shadow over his body and you can hide those features. In regards to Kaito's killer, you can't hide height or weight.

From what we know from the 6 minute preview. i thought we should start a thread ( if their isnt 1 already ) to discuss all the potential suspects and victims and that way we dont have 20 different threads about the same thing.
The problem with this list is that you'll have basically the same list of Suspects as there are potential Victims, although when they start dropping off you'll have a more defined list of suspects! I don't think I've seen this done in another post, nice work =)
I think those drawings are going to play a part somewhere, they have to. I mean, why even show that scene if it wasnt important? Maybe it could be a red herring, and yeah ok, it symbolises that he knows he is going to die, and soon. But still, it's quite weird imo that he gave them to some random. They HAVE to crop up somewhere. Unless he knew they were no longer relevant? Maybe he knew the future was going to be changed, therefore not needing them or giving them to anyone important... I'm not sure. I think Kaito included Linderman and PaPa Petrelli in his figures, hense him mentioning them to Angela and then mentioning the 9 left. You could also add Hiro to the suspects list as it has been mentioned him to be a potential killer, and I personally think thats an excellent theory. Maybe Peter from a different timeline too.
One of my own theories is this ... It could be Sylar from a different timeline? But then, why kill Kaito like that? Why did Kaito say "Of all of them I never thought that it would be you" ... meh, I'm shooting holes in my own theory here.
Maybe it's Hiro killing him off because if he knows WTTB or whoever is leaving the death threats will do worse to him than throwing him from a building? Gah, my brain hurts!
Okay, so we cant see the guy's face on the roof but it's clearly a man judging on his build and the clothes he is wearing. This means that it cant be any of the last generation of heroes that we have already seen as the males are all now dead.
I dont think that it will be an existing character from another timeline, I think it will be a new character. I'd go as far as to say that it could be Kensei, it is revealed in the video above that he has an ability, we have no idea what it is yet, however in previous spoilers it was mentioned that in the first episode we would meet a new male character who is over 1000 years old, perhaps Kensei's ability enabled him to stay alive until present day and somehow turned into a murderous madman along the way?
To back up this theory I have a motive. We already know from the 1st episode of season 2 that Kensei is selfish and wreckless, choosing money over morals. Also remember that it was mentioned in previous spoilers that Hiro would fall in love with a princess and spend some time in ancient China?...
Well there you go, Hiro is adamant that Kensei must fall in love with the princess. I think that Hiro falls in love with the princess, and that it will be Hiro who is the saviour in all of the old stories about Kensei. I think Hiro will carry out all Kensei's duties as Kensei is not interested in doing it himself, but Hiro doesnt take any credit in fear of changing the past.
I think Kensei will either be jealous of Hiro's love for the princess, or the lifestyle that comes along with being a Hero and this will be his orgional motive... or he may become drunk with power upon discovering his ability. Either way it's a possibility.
So here's the shortened version of my far-fetched theory!;
Hiro is Kensei but does not use his own name in order to keep history as it should be.
Kensei is WTTBM and was part of the nine.
I just cant wait to find out what Kensei's power is!!!
