Also real quick: I'm on board with those (I'm not sure if it's been suggested or not on this board) that think Adam Monroe is simply Takezo's real, original name. He's from England after all. I doubt he was born and raised Takezo, and "Monroe" is a fairly common surname.
Hehe, of course it has! - check out the spoiler in the sig
Insider's what? PK? What did I miss? Point me to the right direction -- I've what a week's worth of bad news and upheaval and trying to catch-up....(just watched tonight's episode).
1) Adam Monroe = Kensei
2) Peter will help Adam because Adam was the one who helped Peter save Nathan during the explosion
3) Hiro will seek revenge on Kensei (in the present timeline) around episodes 10-11
4) Hiro will tell Peter that he was friends with Kensei 400 years ago, but he was betrayed, and Peter will be betrayed too.
5) They will kill Kensei by burying him alive in a concrete coffin
6) Niki/Jessica will be killed
7) Elle will have a change of 'heart,' turn her back on Bob and kill Sylar and look like the hero
8 ) Nathan will be the one to get Angela out of jail
9) At one point, HRG will be locked up in jail too
I'm still banking on my "Peter killed Kaito" theory - it's reenforced by Insider's info (check out page 4 of his first link)
Yeah, I've spent the last 5 hours since the episode, posting here and catching-up on insider's posts.
WOW!
In Bent Space you can find out why I've been away! Man, I've missed a lot!
The thing is, that, insider's stuff is pretty specific to episodes # 10 and # 11. So, we have a lot of things to ferret out about 7, 8, and 9.
I suspected for a while that Kensei was the murdered -- I should have posted my theory... I can't take credit for it now. Obviously, he's not in the picture.
You know, who's his accomplish?
Arthur Petrelli! Another (late blooming) empath -- my theory. But that's a longshot.
He lied to Matt and Nathan and got them into their own nightmares. That may be because he didn't trust Matt. He did look smug about it and said, "Pleasant dreams." He knows what his power does and uses it on purpose. The graphic novel from last week strongly suggested that he knew what he was doing to Molly.
So Maury isn't necessarily evil in the villainous mastermind sense. But he is a total sleazebag.
Well, he IS WTTB, according to Molly. But in reality, no, I don't think he is actually 'worse' than Sylar. I think that's why the writers did away with the whole "WTTB" name and changed it to "nightmare man." I don't think they knew how far they wanted to take Maury's character when they wrote the Season 1 finale. So while he was 'worse' than Sylar at first, he's definitely not the killer IMO, so he's not worse than Sylar.
But Peter could have killed Kaito, if directed by Kensei.... interesting!
Couldn't Kensei send him back from where he is now (June, 2008) to kill Kaito? Or is that what you getting at here specifically? I haven't had my coffee yet
That would certainly support PK's theory about future Peter. Technically at least. He'd be present Peter coming back from the future he is currently in.
Honestly, right now I'm thinking that Tim's setting up Adam Monroe to be this season's Linderman-type of character. After all, we've alluded to him twice now in the season, but nobody seems to know who he is, or what he does. Well, aside from Bob, who alluded to him being a "serious threat to the Company".
So what do you think? Could Adam Monroe be the real WTTB? Could he have Maury in his back pocket, and is using him to draw out those folks who are in hiding?
Could he be the one who initially caused Peter to lose his memory, and get shuttled off to Cork?
Could he be the one who knows what HRG is planning, and is pulling the strings so that HRG is also dancing to his tune?
Could West be one of his plants, just so that he can keep tabs on Claire, and through Claire, HRG?
According to the episode description from NBC for Episode # 8 (not the next one, but the one after that):
Quote:
10/29 - When the clock turns back four months for all of the Heroes, Nathan pays a terrible cost for his heroic actions. While Peter survives his detonation over New York City, the Company "bags" him as a threat to the world, eventually leading to violent confrontation with Elle and the Haitian. D.L. makes the ultimate sacrifice for Niki and Micah. Maya horrifically manifests her dark powers for the first time, driving her and Alejandro to America for help. A mysterious, yet familiar face is introduced. David Anders, Jack Coleman, Dana Davis, Greg Grunberg, James Kyson Lee, Zachary Quinto, Sendhil Ramamurthy also star. Carlon Jeffery, Nichelle Nichols and Stephen Tobolowsky guest star.
So, it appears, that Elle and the Haitian are working for .... Adam Monroe? And it looks like he is the one that send Peter to Ireland and then Elle after him (since he had knowledge of where he send Peter).
Obviously, before that, he couldn't have had Peter kill Peter -- SO, we're left with PK's Future Peter killer of Kaito! But he's really our current Peter but without his memory but with the flight ability and the ability to bend the space/time continuum.
What if when Hiro hears that his dad was murdered, he jumps back and tries to save him, but doesn't get there quite in time, so he ends up teleporting Kensai right before he hits the ground, and then the two of them get into their battle at Primatech and Peter shows up there also to defend Kensai.
