OK, so what exactly is going on with that double-slash mark/tatoo? Is it how HRG and company keep track of who they've already studied/experimented on? Is it the byproduct of some sort of drug or other treatment they use on them? If so, what exactly does the drug/treatment do to them? Matt, Isaac, and Nathan (whom they failed to capture) all already have abilities, but Theo claims his didn't begin until AFTER he was abducted and returned. Does the mark moniter them like tagged whales? Or did they perhaps develop the mark on their own when they developed their powers, and it sets them apart from the other heroes, making them of more interest to HRG&Co? So many questions...!

I think that it has something to do with HRG. Both characters recall that they did not have the marks until after they had met the Haitian and awakened 2 days later. Since HRG works for a paper manufacturer, maybe they are severe paper cuts-lol.

Manipulator is right. Remember how the cop was already using his powers after before he was abducted. It was when he saw the littlel girl. BUT...the two marked symbol only appeared after the hatian guy dealt with them. So it does have something to do with him and HRG. Just dont know what.

I think it looks like the beginning of the RNA symbol. It's possible the entire symbol will develop on their shoulder (like Jessica's) once they continue to master their powers.

I think they already mastered their powers. Unless radio active man can blow up even biggers things than the car.

The lines arn't really near where Nikki's mark is. I think its either a side effect of what the Hatian does or a tag by HRG.

As for Ted, he probably had his pwers before HRG got to him, they just weren't apparent. Radiation isn't something you see unless your looking for it.

Just today I was able to catch up on the Heroes graphic novels and when I read all four parts of wireless and how to stop an exploding man? I noticed something.

The people who have been to HRGS place under the primatechpaper area have gotten the tattoo. Hana got it when she was in alaska when she was under going the tests, Ted and Matt got it when they passed out after seeing the hashin man. Thing is we don't know about Sylar. My guess is he does have it but we have yet to see it.

The tattoo itself is made by using a hypodermic gun with two needles, much like a normal tattooing gun, though mixed in with the ink is an isotope that is used in wildlife research. This isotope is remotely detected, allowing the animal, or in this case human, to be tracked.

Heres my questions;

Niki has the tattoo yet she doesn't show up on the Primatechpaper roster of people who've been captured by HRG and the Hashin. Did her sister originally have the marking?

What about the other Heroes? Will they end up like Hana and get captured, ending up with getting the tattoo and Isotope?

If not and if they do get the marking, how did they get it?

I don't seem to recall Niki having the marks. She does have the "S-like" tattoo (which we found means 'godsend'), but i don't recall her having the "=" mark on her neck, but maybe i missed something or maybe the Haitian got to me.

The tymbol meaning "Godsend" or great power is basically the same thing, Here;

her marking isnt the same as the one on the others. HRG hasnt tagged her. plus, hers only appears when jessica is around and goes away after. the others are permanent.
