I disagree with that. Hiro does ask if they should stop time but Peter says he hasn't had a good fight in a long time. Their powers are working downstairs in that building. Ima hafta review that episode but I'm pretty sure they teleport in there in the first place. Second, about claude knowing tricks and running. They were on a rooftop. What tricks could claude possibly know and how would he know that they were blocking powers on the roof. It was just him and peter who were both invisible anyway. if they haitian did block them, they woulda had nowhere to go except jump off the rooftop which would have been worthless if the haitian was blocking peter's powers anyway. and the haitian does not cancel all powers just on proximity. in FYG, matt is still able to use his ability while hiro cant. i think he consciously has to stop them but either didnt or couldnt with peter because as i had said he used 3 abilities (invisibility, tk, and flight) in unexpected right in front of the haitian. and as to ur point about hiro and peter, im pretty sure that hiro states that peter is the only one powerful enough to break through.
Anyways, NO he asks him if he CAN stop time, I have the DVD. Peter says that, you're right, but you are absolutely wrong about Hiro. Second, not only would it have cancelled out the inivisibility on the rooftop, it would have cancelled any and all powers Peter was using on the rooftop, which once again would have alerted claude, since they were training. Also, um, inside the building might have been a slight possibility to run. You know, claude himself knows that people can escape from the company, we've seen it happen to him in the GN so.....I don't see why he wouldn't try to run. Claude is not an idiot, and he would not go down easily if he knew of their presence. So, seeing as the hatian's power is proximity based, you're saying it's not possible to teleport outside the proximity and then step into it? that's my whole point anyways, the hatian can choose to block what he wants, I ALREADY said that he let matt's power go through, but you really are forgetting the most important part. Matt relied on the Hatian for all power blocking capabilities, and the hatian was taken down, It was at that point, that Matt knew all was lost. If the hatian can't block peter, then there would NEVER have been a problem. And even if that were true, that Peter could somehowbreak through, that's 5 years in the future, and as we know from a spoiler, the hatian's powers are going to get stronger, who's to say peter's didn't 5 years in the future as well.
Also, the hatian keeps his power blocking on, as we've seen in earlier episodes. He always travelled with HRG, and matt was spying on them and couldn't break through, because the hatian's PROXIMITY cancelled out his power.
Besides, if his power isn't proximity based, you're telling me he can block someone's power across the globe if he concentrated on it? Hell maybe he's WTTB
yea i just watched mine as well but i knew he said that. ive seriously watched every every episode at least over 20 times when they came out on my dvr (no joke) and ive already seen the whole season 3 times again on hd-dvd. im seriously addicted man. but im not sayin that the haitian's power isnt proximity based, just that its not automatically proximity based meaning he would have to try to concentrate on it to use it while being around the person with an ability. im not saying he can concentrate on ne1 newhere. the only thing im disagreeing with you on is haitian's use of it on top of the rooftop. you urself just said he always keeps it on when he is with hrg, it still doesnt make sense to me why he would turn it off just because of claude. claude does not have ne ability to sense if other people's powers are on. they snuck up on claude anyway and stunned him unconscious. my argument is that why wouldnt the haitian have it on to prevent peter from doing anything. my point is that peter used not only invisibility, but tk and flew right in front of the haitian. by tonights episode, im sure peter would have absorbed the haitian's power on the rooftop because as we saw peter had absorbed dl's ability and dl was not very close to peter during the season finale yet peter got that power. the haitain was much closer to him during unexpected. hrg and the haitian went after claude and peter to capture them, it makes no sense to me that the haitian would not have his ability on knowing what peter was capable of.

i get and agree the reflexive nature of his powers now but i was just getting at how he knew he had all those powers all of a sudden. i really do think he lost his memory but i was thinkin along the lines of him choosing not to remember. wasnt there some kind of spoiler about that or was that just someone's theory? also has it been brought up that peter could have planned his memory wipe and detainment?
