What exactly do you think the extent of her powers are? I mean, we know that she can't regenerate when something is inabaling her brain to work (the stick in the skull) but how far can she actually regenerate? Surely she wouldn't be able to if she was vaporized. Would she be able to with her head cut off?

I think it can go as far as withstanding obliteration....as long as her molecules have any semblance of exsiting...she can regenerate. That's if she trully super human, like super girl...or if she more like Wolverina...then just as long as there are shreds of her within a reasonable(as if on this show) distance she can peice back together.

But the real question is..since she doesn't regenerate at will (becuase when you dead you gots no will), will this ability turn against her?

Like no sex. No haircuts, no fingernail clips..no operations....hrmm??

She seems to have aged normally so far. Otherwise there would be obvious tention between her and her classmates. Although, I wonder when and how will she die? Can she stick a branch to her head and rest in coffin. Then when someone finds her and pulls the branch out, will she regenerate to the age the branch was implanted?

Now that aging theory makes a lot of sense. Remember, she was adpoted...we don't know what happened before the adoption, right?

Ok she's suvived a lot of things, being incinerated, falling from height, being inpaled. yet she carries on. She can be hurt, but what would happen if you had to say , Cut her head off and lock it away seperate from her body, then wait a couple of days and then put them together, would she come back to life?

I think it's quite clear claire is the age we all see her to be. No one EXACTLY knows when her power manifested, some people believe it was in the fire she was saved from ( I don't), while others agree it was in 6months ago where they showed us. Either way, we clearly saw Hiro as a kid in the flashback which lets us know where we are at in the timeline. If you believe that claire is older than she is.....well...then that would mean that she would have manifested from an infantile state, and stayed a baby for a really long time. I doubt it.

I'd say that Claire's ability runs along similar lines as Adam's does. Adam manifested his power with Hiro, and since then, hasn't seemed to age at all. Thus, it's my assumption that Claire's not really going to age much, if at all, from her present state.

Now, I'd also think that with the brain being removed from the body (whether by decapitation or some foreign object or the like) that the healing powers would be null and void. Without a body to work with, and the heart pumping that incredible blood through her system, death is very likely. Granted, if her brain were still intact, I could see it "shutting down" and hibernating until such time as it was able to either regain access to her body, or to some other body with regenerative abilities. Then it would be able to once again heal itself as needed.

That's my take on it, at least.
