Yes but you also have to remember the other little clues. When Sylar is in Mohinders apartment, he takes Isaac's name off the wall. Also, Ted is currently heavily sedated in Texas. Why would Ted go to NYC? and how would he get away from his captors?

Well, as I understand it, HRG is about to be captured by the Company for his insubordination, so it's plausible that he and Ted might break out together. HRG know where Isaac lives, so it's possible that he could lead Ted there.
They did fake us out with the painting of the dead cheerleader. We were supposed to think it was a painting of Claire, but it turned out to be Jackie. So a Ted/Isaac switch wouldn't be out of the question. But why would Ted be in Isaac's loft?
In the recent new preview, just after the caption that reads "Their Moment Arrives," Isaac looks to be pinned to the ground (I am assuming by Sylar). What seems a little weird, however, is the fact that Isaac says: "I finally get to be a hero."
What could he be referencing?! The fact that he warned the world about the explosion, or something we have yet to find out that Sylar tells him, which is why he is so willing to accept his fate? Will Sylar reveal a surprise to him (and to us), and does the person standing off to the side in one of the vidcaps of Sylar/Isaac have something to do with it? Could they be Thompson/Candace's legs? Is Sylar in cahoots with The Company? BAH! SO MANY QUESTIONS!
Personally? I think he's set a trap up for Sylar, which will be the first proof that his paintings can be fought, and are only paintings of a POSSIBLE future, not a definite one.
"I finally get to be a hero" makes it sound as if he's about to do something for the greater good. Dying? Well, that's not really anything for the greater good. Capturing a brain eating, skill-stealing, psycho, telekinetic, serial killer? That might do the world a little bit of good. My guess is he's called the company once he finished the first painting of himself, and they've sent one of their specials to protect their "investment".

I would love to see that. Sorry about chopping up your quote; I'm trying to emphasize what part I like.

In the "Dead Isaac" series of paintings Isaac is NOT pinned down by brushes and has the company gun lying next to him. This is not the case though in the photos we've seen of his encounter with Sylar.
Perhaps these paintings truly are of Ted dead.
Is Isaac the thing in New York that is important to the Company that the newest spoilers talk about?

I was thinking along those same lines, Action. Furthermore, in the future that Hiro saw in episode 2, Isaac's body seemed to be dragged from the front room to the back room. Unless he was trying to hide it from somebody (like he did with Zane's body), why would he transport Isaac from one room to another?
I like that "thing in New York" theory too, Action
I'm not going to believe that the paintings are of anyone else outside of Isaac until I see it on the show. Why? Because Isaac can hold two people in place. We know this from seeing him hold Peter and Mohinder at the same time. So, even if Ted DOES come down, he'd have to kill Sylar (which, if Ted dies, isn't possible) for Sylar to NOT kill Isaac.
On top of that, Tim Story, the actual artist of the paintings, has confirmed that it is Isaac in the paintings. As was said in the other thread, he's just not good at likenesses.

Dragging Isaac's body from one room to another after he was dead would have made a bloody mess. I don't think I saw that when Hiro was visiting the future. Well, there was a huge spill, but not a gory trail leading from another room.

Yeah, I was actually thinking the same exact thing... and perhaps you're right, I just found it a little weird that the spill was a little too directed in terms of flow... unless I am mistaken it looked to me that the only thing that could have caused that would be if Isaac was pulled to the other room, or if Isaac's apartment was lob sided, which I guess never crossed my mind because I didn't think that to be possible.
