So, is anyone out there besides myself watching USA networks KICKASS superpowered show, The 4400? I mean, this show is frickin' awesome. I love the concept that all these "abductees" come back and develop some relatively wicked superpowers. The whole "Jordan Collier = Messiah" thing is definitely trippy . . . and he's even got his own "shaman". I really dug the power that was shown last week: when this chick asks you a question, you HAVE to answer it truthfully, no matter that you'd never tell the truth in a million years. I WANT that power. So . . . anybody else out there watching?

I haven't had a chance yet Stone.. I've been meaning to record the show on my DVR, but we've got so many shows that we want to see that the memory on my DVR is just about taken up with other stuff!

Let me know if they're going to re-show the pilot, and I'll be willing to give it a watch! After all, I hate joining a show in the middle when all the plots are moving at full speed, and I'm just trying to catch up!

It's very similar to Heroes. I actually started watching it first and had to do a catch up on Heroes when people said it was great.

Premise. 4400 (ordinary) people are taken by the future and given powers and sent back to change the path of history to avert a disaster. The agent that activates powers in people is isolated and produced in a single shot form. You can take the shot and get an ability 50% of the time, the other 50% die. The 4400 as well as normals break into factions with different agendas... blah blah..

I still think its OK.. but Heroes is better.

I agree that Heroes is better, but 4400 was around first . . . Jorm, I have no idea when/if they'll reshow the pilot . . . The new season just started a couple of weeks ago, and I thought they'd have a marathon or something then, but, alas, no. Thank you for the support, Sami, BTW. It is a kickass show, even though it only rates one thread on a superior show's forum . . . I really find it amazing that so few of my fellow Heroes geeks have seen this show, though . . . .

I saw a preview for it, i didn't watch it though. Not to sound so 'up my own butt' but, i don't know if i have room in my schedule for another tv show. lol

If you just tried to get into the show without watching the previous season, you'd be completely lost. Of course, I guess the same could be said of Heroes (when the next season starts, anyway) . . . .
