I just thought I'd bring this up. You know how everyone thinks: Why the hell doesn't peter just stop time against sylar? Maybe after the events of the bomb, Sylar munches on a brain that gives him a special power. If you read the most recent graphic novel, then you'll know that hiro and peter weren't able to stop time when they tried to break the prisoners free and were confronted by some heroes on the bad side of things. Peter asks why they can't stop time and hiro answers "one of them must be able to block it." After that they try to figure out which one is blocking it but it is never revealed. I was just thinking that since it had to be one of those 3, there's obviously people out there besides the hatian who can suppress time travel powers (and maybe more.) Now MAYBE sylar ended up taking one of these guys' powers later and became immune to time travel affecting him. Now I know in FYG F. Sylar is pretty close to P. Hiro when he uses tim travel to come back to the present, but maybe sylar wasn't concentrating, or it's just a huge whole in my theory. But, all i'm saying is....if this is true, then maybe sylar had it in FYG and it's possible he might gain this power anwyways...after the events of season 1.

I Think, it just might be not only that you're right, but, events in FYG have more to do with what we're witnessing in our present....

I suspect there's nothing quite as valuable in a fight as a real willingness to do someone harm. Sylar has a clear advantage there in the present.

In the future, the ability Sylar got from Candice to make illusions would be very powerful, maybe as much as being able to stop time. But as I've said before, my money would still be on Peter. He probably has picked up way more abilities than Sylar. Sylar was having people brought to him, but Peter could have picked up dozens during just one night when he and Hiro did that jailbreak in the graphic novel. Peter has had years to accumulate and learn how to use them, and now he's avenging Nathan, too.

Oh trust me I definitely agree with you payquage. I'm just saying that it makes sense (if that's true,) why peter doesn't just stop time against sylar. That would be pretty cool and make him a lot more dangerous.

You know what worst beside stopping time? because peter gotten nikki super strength... therefore... if he stopped time and ripping his arm and leg out with bare hands doesn't matter if he already got clarie's power(remember before futuer sylar and future peter fights... he just aquired clarie's regeneration power)... because peter always knows how to encounter it(stab his head with something or cut his brain in half with hero sword or something)..... clarie power is to regenerate... not grow back a hand or leg with that amount of shot time plus he is frozen in time hehe
