Hmmm...i'm on the bandwagon. Even though i was proven wrong about sylar being able to use one power at a time (illusion power + TK/phasing) peter's still got the upper hand. But i will not say that doesn't mean sylar can't win. We've seen that even the smallest things can make a strong person fall (chalkboard taking out sylar.) So if sylar were to say lodge something in peter's brain and then cut off his head, he could win. But i highly doubt he would. I mean, come on peter is a bad ass. We already know time stopping would completely tear sylar apart. And no, we haven't seen anybody die while time was frozen. But remember when hiro saves that little girl from being hit by that truck? He moved her out of the way and she was fine. Now i realize this has nothing to do with someone dying, but you mean to tell me that hiro could move the girl, but if he tried to twist her arm back and break it it wouldn't work? I'm pretty sure it would.

I want to clear up that i dont think Future sylar goes back in time.

I just said it was possible, not probable.

I think it is becoming increasingly obvious that there is a Future Sylar in the present. Think about this... they will not kill Sylar off, he is too popular a character. I think the version that gets killed at the end of the season is the future all-powerful version, not the present, weaker version.

I think it's interesting that Issac-killing Sylar in the present has the same wardrobe as the Sylar that battles Peter in Five Years Gone. It could just mean that Syler NEEDS a fashion consultant. Besides, he does have the welt on his face from being slammed by Mohinder in .07%. Or could it have been caused by something else... like a burn?

I am lead to believe that there is only one timeline at play here. everything according to the comic is playing out. remember Isaac has the ability to tell the future and to date he's done just that. We are told more then once that Hiro can "fold" time on it self. So, thus there is one timeline that can cross each other. to say there is a future Sylar/peter that differs from the present one is inaccurate. the only difference is that time has passed, one in the same just older. Isaac has seen Sylars death, thats common knowledge, it just took hiro to do all of what he did to make it happen. Isaacs fortune telling didnt change with every leap Hiro took so we know the events are pretty much set in stone. Hiro is desperately trying to change something that happened with his present knowledge but Isaac already knows what happened and his attempt at changing the past which he made a comic of. so, at the end of the day all what is happening is playing out to what has been fortold. it just took some time travelling to make it happen.
so there is no need for all this talk of alternate timelines

and to just address the question at and. Peter is more powerful

all of the abilites hes acquired plus those of Sylars. by shear numbers Peter has more abilities which equates to more power. who will win in a fight...it all depends on tactics. all it take is one well placed blow. who will get something lodged in their head first? (and yes, i believe Peter has the regeneration ability becuase he is the same Peter from 5 years prior.
