So, the question becomes, what killed Charlie--brainclot, or Sylarsaw? Ep. 23 would suggest that Sylar killer her, since she appeared to flash in his stinkeye. Is this a goof-up on the part of the producers?
By the way, Sylar is not dead, Peter does explode, and Nathan is probably dead since Sylar will impersonate him in the future. Remember, people, the paintings always come true, even if ironically!
Peter....painting's have already not come true. NYC did not explode, Micah was not in the explosion, Ando did not die. All painted by isaac. Hiro and Ando's little trip to the future negated those events from happenning. And we know from the Graphic Novels that Sylar does have Charlie's power. So...Sylar killed her. She had a blood clot anyways, but Sylar got there first.
In that case, I am pissed. The producers aren't playing fair. But, btw, we did see Micah die (thanks to Candace). Hmm, NYC did explode through the eyes of Hiro. Maybe these count. I still believe that, as a rule, the paintings come true.

Charlie died Sylar-style. Definitely. We are told so in the graphic novels that he's claimed her ability.
Well we'll be seeing what happens after a man explodes in season 2 hopefully. And I'm guessing neither one of them's gonna want to be exploding any time soon. Maybe peter needed to just get that explosion out him for one reason or another. Maybe he won't have the power anymore having used it to such an extent. Or maybe he'll have more control over it now that he's gotten a good explosion or two out of him. lol Anyways, I think the results of an exploding man could include amnesia, or loss of powers....I'm sure Sylar's not a fan of either, and neither will peter after what he might have to goo through. That's what I'm guessing anyways...

Hiro was about to save her but once he was almost there he was sent into a paradox which just made sylar kill her without hiro doing any saving...
(for those who dont know, a paradox is a term used to describe something very complicated... like, you going back in time to kill your father, but once u kill him, you dont exist... and if you dont exist.. how did you go back in time to change it........................or what was your purpose after changing some significant event, like if sylar tried to go back and make sure he killed claire on homecoming. say he did, then what was his purpose for going back if he absorbed her power in the past??... basically a paradox makes changing the past impossible)
Sylar is nothing close to an empath. Intuitive -- yes. Empathic -- no. I really think it is time for them to show us just how Sylar "acquires" his powers. If he ate the brain matter that "contained" the power, wouldn't it just be broken down by his system and rendered useless? Unless his digestive system is directly linked to his original power of knowing "how things work" (which seems ludicrous), it has to be something to do with examination. Now, the implementation of these powers into his own brain/dna is something different altogether. I don't think he's had the time to give himself gene therapy for every power . . . Look at Dale's hearing. He killed her and had her power in the space of, oh, sixteen hours. How, damnit? How???

Here's a wild theory (that just might come true). Sylar knows exactly WHERE in the brain a power resides. I wouldn't venture to guess where that is, but they 've given us a few clues: For example, put a "magic stick" or a "magic glass shard" into the Medula Oblongata and it seems neither Claire nor Peter can heal.
On the other hand, for the powers that you have "to think" in order to use, have a handy Haitian around and *poof*, all of a sudden, you can't concentrate anymore, you can't jump in time, and you can't fly (yeah, I know, Nathan did, but I think this was a special case since Haitian knew Angela -- Nathan's mom, right?), and you can't read minds.
So, in essence, all Sylar needs to do is distill the essence of the brain for those two types of powers down to a little vial that he can carry with him. After all, we have not seen him carry a cooler with a bunch of brains in it now, did we? But a small vial times, what, (X) 10? Is that plausible? Can he have that on his person? And if he had a vial, is that essence in it, something that he can take a "hit" from again and again, and again AS HE NEEDS IT? And by taking a "hit", is that what allows him to assimilate the power that quickly?
Anyway, all of this, is speculation on my part. It's just a wild and wacky theory.
