I just realized, the spoilers for Sylar say he finds himself depowered...

HES GOT THE VIRUS!!!!!!

And maybe that's how Molly got the virus.

Regardless, we do know that Sylar kills next week. Does it say that he will kill and will THEN be depowered? Or does the depowering come first?

Because if it's after, then there's a good chance Candice had the virus if she is the one he kills next week. Maybe she still has enough left in her to show him one final illusion before the virus overpowers her ability, and then Sylar kills her.

maybe sylar kills DL, dl was bleeding from a gunshot wound and he came into contact with molly, her cells just getting into his blood could give him the virus, and slyar finishing could be a reason why the character isnt listed.

Here's a far out thought, piecing together some potentially bogus spoilers...

Maya and Alejandro come across a depowered Sylar. Alejandro somehow heals Sylar, who then shows his gratitude by killing Alejandro. BUT THEN--- Sylar continues with Maya as Alejandro-- thus, Alejandro's actor plays Sylar for a while. Sylar might not go after Maya because if he had both of their powers then nothing potentially nothing would happen. The better of the two to take would be Alejandro, especially if his power allows him to cure something.

Remember that Candice/Betty as well as DL were from 4 months ago. We are now 4 months later so we won't see any Sylar interaction with them until we get to that episode.

By Sylar continuing as Alejandro we will know that he took care of Candice/Betty. We just won't see that scene until later.

Maybe the Company emplanted/cross-infected the virus into people - either accidentally or intentionally - with the chip they put in the neck. Smile

That would cover the Haitian, Sylar and probably Molly. It would also mean that Parkman is screwed.

Just a thought.

The spoiler definately read that he killed and then found himself depowered.

I doubt the company, run by Specials, is infecting specials with a virus, and then hiring Mohinder to cure it. That'd be pretty pointless.

Or does Sylar find himself with Candice somewhere else, kills her, passes out, and then finds himself depowered in Mexico?

Or do we think that the Sylar-in-Mexico spoiler is a crock since, after all, it was from the National Enquirer?

National Enquirer or not, they've hit pretty close to the mark. They DID name Bob, even before YOUR source, PK. It's scaring me a little, because most of what I read in there, I didn't like.

They also called this:
"Peter is forced to help the criminals holding him hostage with a robbery; and saves the gangsters by levitating an armored car and hurling it at the guards. He also discovers he has the power of shooting electricity from his hands. Cool stuff." - This is seen in the preview for next week's episode, Kindred.

"Niki (Ali Larter) joins the Company." - This could be accurate, and based on the preview for next week's episode, one of two things is happening to her. Either she has the virus, or she wants to be rid of her powers. If the former, then Mo can cure her and she has to go to the company to get to him. If the latter, then my idea (assuming I'm the only one that's said it. I've been away for a while so I'm sure someone else has brought it up.... but until I get a link, it's mine Razz

) about the company manufacturing the virus as a test module for a cure to super-human abilities may not be far off.

"Monica (Dana Davis) has the power to replicate any physical motion. She foils a stick-up man by snatching his gun and flooring him with a double backflip she once saw during a wrestling show." - We know from Episode 5's description that she's looked upon as a local hero. This is probably what lead to that.

"American students Derek and Maya (Dania Ramirez) find Sylar lying face down in the Mexican desert. They rescue him. He tells them his name is Gabriel Gray and seems willing to help… but then secretly kills Derek at a gas station." - YES. Yes. Yes. The fact that they called him Derek bugs the hell out of me too. The fact that they called them "American students" bugged me even further. I pray that whoever originally quoted the article forgot to type "Central" and thus the article made its rounds that way. However, Alejandro COULD be killed by Sylar, if he kills Candice first, which would allow him to look like Alejandro in front of her, thus not making her all distraught and virusy. He'd also get Alejandro's ability to cure her, after killing him, making him seem even more convincing. Why he wouldn't kill Maya, too, though, is the only thing I see wrong here. And it;s definitely not a small issue.
