I was actually re watching the episodes today. and kept pausing at those clips.. and was trying to make him out.. nice job on the caps.. very clean.

I believe this picture cannot literally tell you who is Sylar, but rather give you a good set of clues if they are playing fair (and who wouldn't go back and look at this scene on the DVD to compare to "Sylar unmasked"?).

The reason I make the assertion though is that this shot would involve a stunt double who they would surely keep at the similar height/weight of the real Sylar "actor/actress" but a stunt double by definition only has to look close enough to the actor/actress to get by in these shots..

In a shot in shadow like this, so much could be different but much else has to be the same if they are playing fair. If we ourselves are playing fair, we should depend on shot #1, maybe even shot #2, but they never expected us to look at shot #3 and in the end we are the ones who will be disappointed if we pin it on an actor that looks like the stunt double.

Here is what we can reasonably deduce about Sylar:

1. Sylar is white.
2. Sylar has no sideburns.
3. Sylar has a strong jaw for a woman but a medium jaw for a man.
4. Sylar has a wiry build for a man, medium build for a woman.
5. Sylar does not have a beard, but may have a mustache.

A lot of Sylar is hidden, like Sylar's neck (a good way to figure out strength/sex), Sylar's shoulders (two layers and a possibility of shoulder pads within the coat), and basically Sylar's whole torso. Sylar's hair color, eye color, chin shape, and so many other things are hidden.

Another thing to note: Sylar kills without touching his/her victims so he/she does not need to be strong.

As you may have guessed, I theorize Sylar is a female. Specifically Niki's alter ego. I lay out my theory here. It has very little room for error (on Niki's Alter Ego's part) though so I really hope it is right, just so they can tell us how Niki's Alter Ego did it.

The two keys that pushed my thoughts further to Sylar being female were the upturned collar and no sideburns but seemingly brushed back hair. I could be very much wrong, but I just have a feeling at this point (with a few clues).

Lol, Sean Bean was Boromir in Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring.

I recently read and posted but now the post is gone. That tv guild reported that Sean Bean is not playing this role. Dec 20th is our first glimpse of Slyer.

the only problem is that it was posted that they were wrong about who plays as paul sylar and that he is making another movie right now so he cant be in this. You never know though either one can be a rumor.
