So where exactly do you think these three fit in? I see how they will be traveling to NYC to find Mohinder but at what point will the meet up and what will there effect be on the crazy situation that all of the other hereos seem to all be in?

Good question. I'm having trouble figuring out where Maya and Alejandro fit in at all. They don't seem to be very important to the plot, but she does have a very deadly power. I guess they are here to show us that there are Heroes all over the world. At first I thought that she might have been why NYC was evacuated but we now know it was due to the release of the virus. I'd say if anyone needs that virus, it's her! I don't see how her "gift" would benefit anyone.

I think that Sylar's all-consuming hunger for power and control will be beating his light side to the ground every step of the way. That kind of a cycle is extremely difficult to break, at least not for more than a few minutes.

Yeah. And also, he probably couldn't stop killing if he wanted to, I think - killing gets much easier as you do it more often, and I don't think his willpower would be strong enough to stop.
