| I concur wholeheartedly. Brad Garret is hillarious. He'd make a pretty darn good Jolly Green Giant too (because of his height). |

| I agree. Brad Garret would be great. now, about Grandpa and Lilly.. Who would you be able to get for them? I'd have to say that if he wasn't about to die, Wilford Brimley might be a good one.. (Wait, is he dead already? I forget about the 'old' actors..) |

Until Febuary 3 of 2006 you could have gotten
"Granpa" Al Lewis to play the part of Granpa from the Munsters.
Al Lewis who played the original role
was truly a one of a kind actor
famous not only for his role on the Munsters
but also stared in Car 54 with fellow actor Ed Gwen.
In 1998 he even ran for Mayor of New York on the Green Party ticket.
In replacing the great Al Lewis for the immortal role of Granpa
I can only think that actor/comedian Gilbert Gottfreid could do the role justice. |

| What do you think about Cher playing the role of Lilly? I mean, she's getting on in years, but I think she'd be able to pull off the part playing next to Brad Garrett, don't you think? |

Cher playing the part of a domestic
living dead vampire in suburbia?
I think she could do it but someone
would have to explain to her
that the role is comedic and not serious.
All kidding aside I think she is a very good actress.
Her performances in Mask and Moonstruck
alone prove that beyound any doubt. |

Just thought I'd dredge this thread up to let you all know it has been made official, Sylar will be playing Spock.
Director JJ Abrams has announced at the Comic-Con Paramount panel that Leonard Nimoy and Zachary Quinto will both be playing the role of Spock in his Star Trek prequel. Since the latest in this long-running franchise will center on a young James T. Kirk and Mr. Spock, either a flashback (flash forward?) or time travel must be involved. He also told the attendants that he's still looking of his Kirk. More reports from our team on the ground are forthcoming.
Tentatively titled Star Trek XI, the movie will begin filming sometime this fall for a theatrical release on Christmas Day 2008.

Well it appears, that James Kyson Lee is actively campaigning to play a young Hikaru Sulu:

I think that would be awesome! Along with the Zachary Quinto casting as Spock, there seems to be a lot of "Heroes" and "Star Trek" cross-pollination! |
