Hey, I'm in two groups on yahoo, http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/9thWonders/ and http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/NBC_Hero_rpg/. They are both good and the more dedicated writers in the group the better they'll be!

If we did start one, I'd say the show characters should be off limits. We would need to make up our own characters.

That sounds great. There's so many power options out there. Actually making up characters is my favorite part of the writing process!

I like the idea of an RP. Now, about whether to have your own Heroes, or using one's from the show, I think one of two idea's would make everyone happy.

Either run 2 RPG's, 1 for each style of play.

Run 1 RPG, with the choice of either creating your own char, or using one from the show.

I personally don't really know if I would like to create my own character. I would, I've done RP's before where you had to create your own character's, but on the other hand, it might be alot of fun to see how people would take existing characters and use them.

Is there still a possibility of an RP happening? I would love to get involved in a Heroes based one.

I would like to contribute to the mechanics of the RPG section.

I suggest a simple d6 (normal dice) additive, with a attribute/skill ranking system.

If we used characters form the show there would be a limit to how many people to join, which would be no fun.
