I'm going to fall into the "he doesn't have powers" camp. That just seems to easy to me. I think he's a main character because he's the catalyst for Jessica to appear and nothing else.
Another possibility is that Micha does have a superpower
that simply hasn't manifested yet.
I'm thinking that in some future episode, in a moment of extreme peril,
this power will suddenly choose to reveal itself, seemingly out of nowhere,
to the surprise of everyone, including Micha himself.

Would the kid get both powers?
One or the other?
A weird morph between the two?
A new one all together?
I think the last one. Even though genetically, it should be one of the first three options depending on the number of alleles and loci for the mutant gene, I think this show could care less. Unless they could combine the two into some really nifty power I can't think of, a new one is where They'll head.
I also agree with him, and that explains why he knew about his mom's "other job". I still think there is a super intuativeness, though. Jessica sounds like Nikki, just a little gruffer. Still, even with the vocal similarity, Micah knew that she wasn't his mom, she was the other one. I think it will be hard to handle the intuativeness, though, still being so you and motivated by a child's heart.
I was completely wrong about Micah - but after his little display I don't trust him for a second. Not only did he know it was Jessica, but he wasn't shocked or thrown off by her - like he'd dealt with her before. It also suggests that he lied to his mom when she asked him how he got his bag and he said "you brought it." He had to have known it was Jessica.
All kids are evil.
The question is how evil.
So far I don't think Micha registers very high on the evil meter, if he lied it was a lie told for his mother's sake.
Let's face it, living with Niki/Jessica would be little different than living with someone with mental illness.
How many times has Micha witnessed first hand the shift between the two identities?
How many times has he dealt with Jessica only to realize Niki has no knowledge of her or memory of anything she does?
Like all kids Micha would invent coping skills to deal with this situation, he lies when he has to in order to get along.
Just like any other child who comes from a dysfunctional family.
his powers are that he can fix broken mechanical objects (ex. remember on the first or second episode he said he fixed his own computer motherboard? What kid knows how to do that? and he fixes the telephone booth thing at the motel and when he lets go of the broken object is breaks again...ex. when D.L. jerked the phone away it breaks again...anyone agree?
I think he's manipulating the situation, not coping. He just seemed to slick at the phone for my comfort. And isn't it perfect to have the evil one in such a sweet package? Maybe he and Claire are the evil duo!
Making a Future Micah the "evil one" & manipulating the Heroes to send him back in time or help him out in any other way would just be too "Charmed" for me.
Since I haven't been watching too long....I just got hooked during the New Year's Day Marathon on NBC.......but are Nikki, D.L. and Micah aware that each of them has any "powers"? It seems like the kid does from him telling his dad:
