As we all saw. ( and i watched again ) the conversation between Nathan and Bob talking about the original heroes or the 12 that were brought together by Adam... Bob says that he has convinced people that they belong together for the good and yadda yadda. But the interesting thing is the article he whipped out.
Nathan: "Snow falls on miami.... i dont get it...."
Bob: "That could have read.... ' Tsunami wipes out eastern seaport'"
is it just me or does this hint that we may have found one of our original 12's abilities? A tsunami of a certian size plus cryokinesis could very well produce enough snow to fall onto miami.... Leading me to believe that one of the original's had been Cryokinetic.... and the only way for sylar to get it would be to kill one of the originals.... and he had cryokinesis before Kaito, and Charels died... which leads me to believe that Arthur Petrelli was cryokinetic and Angela hid his murder from the news to not draw attention to the family.

Didn't Syler steal that ability from Mr. Walker? So she is a child of the original 12...who is the one who can control weather? Yet another X-Man swipe if it turns out true.
i will remind you that at that point they were talking about Adam and how bad he is... after 400 years you'd think he would've picked up a couple oother powers....
think about it, bob said Adam was the guy who thought genocide couuld help for the greater good. Could this be one of Adam's attempts to kill off a bunch of people? And it was thwarted by someone in the original 12? Then they decided he was bad and put him in jail....
I like that theory quite a bit. Pat myself on the back.
It's impossible for Sylare to have absorbed one of the original 12's powers. First, according to the online novels, Arthur Petrelli didn't have any powers. Second, before Kaito was killed, it was established that 9 of the 12 were still alive. The 3 dead being Linderman, Deveraux, and Arthur Petrelli. None of which had weather controlling powers.
My theory on that article is much simpler than what's been proposed here. What if the original people collected by Adam wanted to do something anonymously that they knew would end up in a newspaper article. Someone originally suggests something really terrifying like a Tsunami on the eastern seaboard, but it's decided that that would cause way too much damage and destruction. They decide to then do something simple like make is snow someplace its never snown before. Might cause a few car accidents, but otherwise it's a pretty harmless thing to do.
For all we know it could have been the start of the rift in the 12 with Adam and Linderman wanting to cause the Tsunami, with Kaito and Deveraux wanting the snowstorm.
What about someone causing a tsunami, and the others simply freezing it and destroying it, resulting in a cloud of snow?
Wouldn't that be what I just said?

I reckon it was a combination of abilities and highlighted how working together they could be god's (or god to the Monotheist's). Someone would've Foretold the incident, someone else thrown the tsunami in the air, someone else freezes it. Adam has known bout his abilities for 400 years so he knows a thing or two, so when the original 12 show up scared and unsure, he's there to give them direction. Kinda like Mohinder, but with a bigger agenda, much bigger, much much much bigger, much much much much much......
