When I say Claire's dad, I mean her adopted dad. It sets her up to be a good guy and to have to fight her own dad.
I'm also wondering how many of these guys were "genetically engineered" kind of like the Pretenders were. The real interesting part is how come we've only heard of one from outside of the US?

As for the black guy in the bar, I'm going with him being Nikki's husband and possible him having killed the men through her (by controlling her mind) and their son having a similar ability.

I believe Sylar is killing those who he sees as a threat, or those who he can get something from, such as other heroes. Obviously Sylar knew of more heroes then The Suresh's father did because he had many, many more dots on his map then the professor.

It's possible that Sylar's only ability is to sense other heroes, and that he's found a way to steal their powers - adding them to their own. I agree that it's possible that he's seeking to do this by eating their brains...or something of that sort.

Maybe Syler's end destination is nothing short of the cliche' villan - world domination.

-The artist only sees what someone is making him see. Which is why he can't do it at will. But under the influence.
-The timetraveling ninja is only being allowed to see what could happen...
Other wise why would they be lost in Nevada, knowing he could go into the future and find out why they're there?
-The cheerleader needs to be saved be cause she is the only one that can go up against Skylar(sylar?).
-Sylar is the one weapon the "Agency" has against these "anomolies"(heroes).
-The policeman is going to be used to find out information from dying people, or people who have info to give but can't speak it.
-The stripper will think she's Sylar and find out that her sons' power.
-Mohinder will die. Only to show the severity of the situation. (will he be brought back by the stripper's sons' power?)
-cheeleaders dad is trying to find out more, and will go to what every means to get that information. HE HAS A BOSS.
-and ANdo....oh ando-san. He is the ring leader. (a BIG BIG stretch.)
