Because their avatars threw us off. I mean, asian guys with white fellas as their avatar? how could I make that kind of connection?? Shocked

Seriously, Byd and AF are two of the folks that I love to read in this forum, because when they say something, it usually is quite interesting.

Byd's comments are usually quite deep and insightful, since he tends to read into just about everything on this board, and is quite the informed fella.

AF's posts are interesting to read because he pulls no punches. He calls it like he sees it, and that's the way it is. Most times he adds humor to alleviate a stinking comment, but for the most part it's "this is what I think, take it, or leave it" type of attitude, and I love it!

You two guys ROCK! hail

And AF, I know I've verbally sparred with you, but I sincerely mean everything Jorm said about you! Your opinions are invaluable, and you keep us grounded. Hell, I 've said some stupid crap in the past without realizing it. Your comments keep us on the straight and narrow!

Well, besides that AF, your picture looks a bit larger than PK's anyway. The sidekick is supposed to be the shorter runt, so that makes you the leading man, and PK as the stand-in.

The reason he gets to be the mod is for compensation for not getting to be the main hero! We gotta keep him from getting his feelings hurt! lol

Seriously. I love to read everything that you two post. PK tends to be the dreamer that comes up with interesting, if not always plausible, ideas that keep the brain functioning.

AF, you're the breath of fresh air that helps clear out all of the BS that can start to fly when an idea is grabbed and ran with. You say it point blank, and with no reservations or apoligies, and that in itself helps to keep it all real.

I really do appreciate everything that you two do for this website.

See, I grew-up in the Northeast, and my background is ethnic (as if you haven't known).... lol

The point is, I live in the south now, and although southern people are pretty warm, they don't talk or shoot straight sometimes, they can stab you in the back.

I love people that tell it like it is, that talk straight, that don't hold any punches, even if it disagrees with my opinion. If everyone was to agree with my opinion all the time, or if everything was to be a mutual admiration society all the time, where would we be in the end? NOWHERE. That's why I value AF.

And this summer, I have come to value Jorm and Stone and Obsidian and a bunch of others, too many to count....! Thanks! Very Happy
