Sylar is a miimic, that doesn't mean he is the strongest or there are some who can't defeat him out. Here are some of the Heres that can defeat him:
Peter Petrelli
The Hatian
Maury and Matt Parkman
D.L (if he was alive)
Does anyone Know whether Maury Parkman will return?
kaneiscoming, I think that he'll be one of the 'villains' as a few threads back i posted an image of the villains silhouettes at the end of the trailer and you can see like a bald head with hair at the side like Maury.
I don't understand why they would waste a create villain like him.
It's a theory Maury and Jessica are definite candidates - the body figure of each of those (although they're silhouettes) matches them almost exactly. The 'guy' in the picture is bald, short, and overweight (like Maury), and the girl is skinny, has long hair, and stands with one shoulder higher than the other - we've seen that stance from Jessica many times.
And Kring hasn't confirmed that Jessica & Nathan are dead yet. He said it doesn't look too good for them, but we won't be getting a confirmation on that, I'm sure, until we actually see Volume 3.
And there's the dream sequence of Adam and Niki together in a scene... which makes me wonder why they would be doing a scene together... unless of course, it really is just a 'dream' sequence that Peter is having.
I still like to think that all the dreaming and the ability to feel what was happening to his brother (which had happened since they were children according to Peter in "Genesis") is just another facet of his empathy. It makes the most sense that way.
So I guess I'd say that the weird dream/visit the past thing was Angela's ability. Although, it is strange that she didn't see him then in the sequence in HTSAEM. So maybe not, I dunno...
However, Action, there's one major problem with that:
Claude.
Peter never met Claude, and yet he saw his face in a dream while in the hospital.
That definitely shows dream-cognition, IMO...
I think we saw dreaming-precognition in "Godsend," and dreaming-postcognition in "HTSAEM."
He never met Claude before that... that we (or he) knows of.
Its very likely he had a run in before, and his empathy picked up on it whether his sight did or not.
He had also never met D.L., Niki, or Micah @ that point.... so maybe not, but I still wanna hold on to the empathy theory. :p
The following picture does not mean i necessarily support that the figures from the video are of Jessica and Maury, just a comparison.
The top is the original picture from Ally with a picture of Jessica and one of Maury. In the bottom righthand corner is another picture of Niki to better represent the style of hair she had during most of Season 2. To the left are the top pictures of Jessica and Maury turned to sillouhettes and superimposed over top of Ally's picture
Cool to see Maury return. But i don't think Maury would work for Sylar. Am really interested in black new villain, bevcause i think he is more dangeous and powerful than Sylar. He is a rapist, killer and an arsonist. Is it actually Sylar that freed this evil Specials?
great comparisions. yea the hair fits cause her hair was just so blah this season just poker straight. but a nightmare future with jessica would mean she would have to be alive in present so amkes me happy
Maybe Sylar takes Maury's ability and creates this illusion or Peter goes into the future or Hiro! Ahh i just want to know now!
Also in the trailer when the new 'villain' is killing Claire theres a quick image and it looks like Peter with his head cut off! You have to look REALLY closely though!
The only thing that gets me about the Niki/Adam situation is David Anders said that SHES having a nightmare.
Finally, here's another image which i tried to lighten. We can see that theres 4 villains standing there obviously in The Company and the one at the far left looks muscular and too add to that when Sylar grabs Angela, she really doesn't look like shocked, it's almost as if she knows he's going to do it.
After watching those Volume 3 clips, I would say the new villain (knox) is the one who killed hiro, matt and he is the one throwing claire against a wall. Remeber episode 13 was a future episode. So i think this future is a bad future caused by the new villain and the heroes would have to stop him to prevent it.
NICE! Kaneiscoming, I totally forgot about that. In fact, that would make the absolute most sense of everything we know so far. I really kinda think the theory about the illusion power is a bit stretching it. Although it IS possible, I just think that's A LOT of illusions to be used in the show. I don't want that power to be used SO much. Anyways, I think that's a great theory about what some of these scenes could be. And yeah, honestly, I don't think Sylar is gonna kill Angela right there. I think either he slammed his hands down in a"Where-do-we-go-from-here-leader?" manner(lol)
OR it was a "Time-to-cough-up-your-secrets-about-us-villains" manner where she might be the one to inform them, about adam and how they are "connected"
wow, i like the idea of sylar knowing the haitian is really the only one that can nullify his powers, even against peter he stands SOME chance, but to get to the haitain, he'd have to get close (or doop someone like noah, who's close to him)
then pretends with illusion or whatever, and makes noah think the haitian killed claire, at which point noah kills the haitian, and sylar is super happy heh
