So far, we've seen 3 of the Original 12 wield a weapon to physically protect themselves (Maury = gun, Victoria = gun, Kaito = sword), which to me implies that their powers (other than Maury's, since we know his) might be mind related and not as protective as some of the physical powers we've seen. However, we know that Maury has one of the strongest abilities out there - so perhaps he would be able to protect himself with mind control when push comes to shove. Anyway, I hope we see some physically-related powers for the Original 12. ENOUGH OF THIS DILLY DALLYING, WRITERS!! ~sigh~

Presonally, I don't believe there are any other mimics equivalent to Peter, which is why Claude told Peter that he was "Evolution at its peak".(or something to that affect) We may indeed see "mimic" like abilities in future episodes, but never to the degree we see with Peter.
As for Pratt: It will be interesting to see "why" she has isolated herself. Is it because she is able to "infect" people, and now Peter has unwittingly become a carrier of the virus. - - I'm just thinking in terms of manipulation. Nothing is ever as it seems, and yet at other times, it is in plain site, as simple as it seems.
I would like to see Peter reveal to Pratt that he is not only a time traveler, but everything else just to see what she has to say. And, the one thing I don't understand, all of these characters have so MUCH VALUABLE KNOWLEDGE. All Peter would have to do is read their minds: Pratt, Adam, HRG, etc....
FAR OUT THEORY:
Kaito Nakamura is NOT dead. We do not know what his power is. Could it be that he let "Adam" "appear" to have killed him? -Just a thought. It appears not all the 'death threats are real'. This could all be a part of the master plan to "throw" off everyone in attempt to "appear" to dismantle the Original 12. Kind of like faking your death to go into hiding for 'whatever' reason, but instead of "one" death, you fake an organizations. 'The Company' dies -- but "not" really???????????????????? I belive there are multiple plot lines to different stories occurring at the same time. Peter will save the world, but there are other things happening.

Well, Jocko, Claude also said, "One of those" to Peter in reference to his ability, which to me is a clear implication that Claude knew about mimics and has been around at least one other mimic before Peter. Also, while in Peter's apartment in "The Fix," Peter clearly asks Claude something like, "How many others like me have you trained?" Claude smirks after taking a sip of beer and tells Peter to follow him or something. I don't necessarily think that one of the Original 12 HAD to be a mimic, but I wouldn't rule it out completely, especially since it was around Claude's era. I think it's one of those things we'll find out about in a future Season.

Personally , I think Pratt wanted out of The Company for the same, or close to the same, reason that HRG wanted out of The Company - to protect herself and her family. I'm sure, at first, the intentions of The Company seemed promising, but as Linderman said, some of the members became corrupted with greed and power (which includes Linderman himself, I'm sure), and Victoria wanted no part in it anymore, and decided to go into hiding with the help of Angela (since Angela was the one to make her the promise to keep her whereabouts a secret).
Now HERE's a crazy thought:
Claude and Victoria became involved back in the day, and she wanted out, so with the help of Angela, Claude hid Victoria.

I just seems hard to believe there is anyone out there "with MORE potential" than Peter. In other words, I still think that there will be other characters introduced with "mimic like" abilities, but none to the degree of Peter: such as infinite power via all he has absorbed. I believe any other mimics will be limited in their scope while Peter will not be: such as time, distance/proximity, 'understanding' of the power, etc...
Love all your dedication and feedback to the forum. (Off topic: how do I associate an "avatar" to my name?
I completely agree with you, Jocko, in that Peter is the strongest mimic there has ever been. But I think the reason he is the strongest mimic is because he is an empathic mimic. Peter has the ability to love unconditionally, as Charles and Angela have said, and I think that it is this facet of his power that makes him the strongest. If there were any other mimics, I don't think they were empathic ones, and I don't think they were able to love unconditionally like Peter.
In regards to your avatar, scroll to the top of the page, put your mouse pointer over "Board" and then click on "Edit my Profile." At the bottom of that page is the avatar section, and you can choose an avatar from your computer or from a URL. Just make sure the file size and size of the avatar go with the guidelines listed in that section
I guess they are making up for not having any clips up last week!
A few quick comments:
1. Mohinder you dufus! How can you leave a laptop with sensitive information at home! Idiot! Complete and utter idiot! Or in other words crappy writing.
2. So let me get this straight, Mohinder goes back to his apartment w/o even contacting the company to let them know that Sylar is in his apartment? Mohinder, did I mention you're an idiot and this is sloppy writing?
3. Elle's journey continues and her character continues to grow. They are taking their time growing her though.....
4. So Adam can manipulate Peter that easily? No way!
5. Prediction: Micah will use his powers to try to save Monica.
Herc, your first comment makes some sense. Kinda odd mohinder would leave something that important so easily accessible at his house. However, at the same time you have to remember. He thinks Sylar is dead until he gets a call from him. Plus, I'm pretty sure he though Matt was gonna be there. I mean, from what we saw in the previous episode, matt is in new york and there for breakfast with molly. So,its really not that odd for Mohinder to have some sense of security since matt lives there. Also, we don't even know if Mohinder called the company or not, how is Elle gonna meet up with sylar anyways? Maybe mohinder DID call. And even if he didn't, he knows just how evil and cruel Sylar can be, and since Sylar has molly, I don't think Mohinder wants anything to happen to her, especially with some company squad coming in, probably not silently. Mohinder still thinks Sylar has his powers before he gets there too, and he knows what he is capable of.
I don't know if your third comment is good or bad,but we waited 17 episodes to get the full story on HRG and no one complained about them taking too long with him. I mean, if they push too much too fast, then you begin to not feel for the character. And right now, I'm really interested in Elle and it seems like a lot of people on these forums are too, which means the writers are doing just the right pacing for her. I'm not begging for everything to be unraveled about her, but I'm definitely taking what i get. And it wasn't really THAT easy for adam to manipulate peter. He DID try to talk to him for a month to no avail, and then for a full month of full on info and manipulation. Then he even goes the extra mile and heals his brother for him. And in order to manipulate him even futher, use caitlin as means to his end. If that's not some rough manipulation then what is.
I'm not really knockin you directly Herc, I just don't think that EVERYTHING on the show is bad writing now. That seems to be everyone's answer to anything they personally don't like.

1. Mohinder is a "father" and when a child is in danger, you instantly try to save them. Logical? No. Reality? Yes. AS for the laptop, I guess he's guilty of thinking his home is safe as he lives with Ultra Mind Lord.
2. Peter is the one that is bugging me...the fact he isn't reading Adam's thoughts tell me Adam has found, over the years, a way to block a mind read. Or he can make people read the things he wants them to.
3. Elle/Bob/HRG dynamic is awesome. The character is cool and the self doubt is well portrayed. Love this and I still think Elle & Claire will team up to save HRG.
4. Syler is playing this right. Way cool as always.
5. I'd bet Hiro transported out after losing his sword in the fight...those guys have it in the preview clip.
HOW HAVE I MISSED THAT FRIGGIN SITE??!!?? Wow. I don't even know what to say. Soooooooooo coool. As for Peter not reading Adam's mind, I have no idea; yes, he's 400 yrs. old or whatever, but how many people with that power has he been around? Angela couldn't stop Matt from getting the VP info . . . Oh yeah, WHERE THE HELL IS MATT?? Vacation? Who was watching Molly?
You know what I don't understand? (And this can most DEFINITELY be attributed to bad writing)...
Watch the clip of Peter and Adam at Primatech when they get to the locked door of the vault:
Peter: "So what do we do now?" Adam: "I guess you'll have to pry it open with that brain of yours." Peter: "I'm not sure I have that sort of power."
...uhhhh???? what????
Let's see what Peter has done this season:
1) He phased his hands through rope
2) He TK'd a shotgun out of a man's hand
3) He punched a man halfway across the room with super-strength
4) He TK'd an armored vehicle across the street from him
5) He walked through the walls of a prison
And if THAT'S not good enough, Adam helped Peter regain his memory, so he should have REMEMBERED from Season 1 that he has telekinesis.
If the writers expect us to believe that Peter is skeptical about whether or not he has the ability to either TK open, rip open, or walk through the door to a vault, then they must be cracked out on something. In all honesty, that is probably the stupidest line I've heard in both seasons of Heroes thus far.
I agree. That's a silly line. He could do any number of things to open that vault door. Not to mention, if it's electronically sealed somehow, he has Micah's ability too. But DL's seems the most obvious here. Did the writers forget about that? Or does that power have a limit, like there are some substances it can't go through. I suppose if this was the case, the Company would know and build the vault accordingly. But how would Peter know this without trying first? Unless that little conversation comes after he does try unsuccessfully.
Here's a question: If it's a combination lock, do you think he could use Micah's ability to crack the combination?

Guys, keep in mind this is Peter, the guy who is never sure he's that good. Will TK actually work to open a door? No, TK moves opjects and can create a field around an object, but to tear a door off a handle? I can see why he wouldn't be sure. Phasing would let them walk through, but can you take objects with you? Oh yeah, you can. Sorry, phasing is the one. I guess they need it open so other heroes can run in. Still trying to determine what actualy power could do that...super strength only, as they would need to rip it off the hinges. Does he know Nikki had it?
Well he used super strength on Sylar, so he knows he has it. But maybe there's a limit. The vault might be too strong for tk or superstregth, and it might be made of a substance that DL's ability can't pass through. But I still think he could probably use Micah's ability somehow. Peter's got lots of tools in his shed. It's just a very cluttered shed and it can be hard to find things sometimes, especially if you're timid like Peter and afraid of tools dropping on your head when you go looking for them.

That is point on, a computerized vault can be told to open...can not think of any other, beside the Ted/Nuke power but that would do a hell of a lot more than just open the door!
