Didn't I start an almost identical poll some days ago?
And didn't I give an official conclusion.....logistics.....
It takes 8 days (in total) to film an episode. There's overlap, sure, but that's how it works out. The show airs every 7 days. Thay started a few weeks before airing episode 1. There was a hiatus in filming over Christmas.
They simply ran out of episodes and needed time to get ahead of themselves (and us) again.
Plus it adds to the suspense, and gives them a chance to try out some of the more nutso ideas they have for the ARG.....damn their eyes.
Maybe it is set up by terrorists, or the Bush administration, or North Korea, or something else. Alas, I think that they do it to set me off as well. I am with you on how annoying it is though, Stonegroove. We shall stand tall, stand together, and stand true.
I think the only reason that Slippy's against our march against the film studio is because he's out there in England, and we're here in the US where we don't have to make travel plans that have to span an ocean to take into consideration. Just a nice little roadtrip!
Seriously, I know that there's been productions stallings, but it also seems to be a bit suspiciously dated for Sweeps weeks, so I'm not that convinced that it isn't also a ratings ploy for now..
I just hope that season two doesn't do this to us as well....
The truly frustrating thing is
that we all know of great shows
on television that the Networks couldn't
keep their cotton pickin hands off
and just leave them alone
to be enjoyed by their fans
Same Time and Same Day each week.
How many times have we had to play the game of
Is My Show On This Week?
What Day It On Now?
Why Did They Have To Move It Opposite To That Show Everyone Else In The World Likes Better?
Back in the days before that internet thingie
you had to buy this stupid thing called a TV Guide
and just try to find the shows you loved
as those heartless mongoloids at the Networks
did everything in their power to hide them from you.
The inner geek in me cries when it thinks of all the shows
that the Networks sabotaged and murdered in this manner.
Curse you Network Stooges and bring me back my
Max Headroom
Forever Knight
Firefly (List your favorite doomed show here)
Ah, Max Headroom.....there's memories! Good ol' Matt Frewer. Terrible Australian accent in A Town Called Eureka. Good to see him still on TV tho.
Firefly...most cancelled program on TV.....but it was worth losing it to get that film.
It WAS my fave film of all time....until I saw The Prestige. My word, what a film. Michael Caine - Great man. Hugh Jackman - surprisingly versatile.
Lol, back before the internet we only had four channels to choose from, so it was never hard to find what you wanted! So long as, on a saturday you wanted cricket, snooker, soccer or horseracing.
