I was arriving in Dulles Airport post-Thanksgiving travel. As I walked down the ramp and through the final security checkpoint, I saw a common sight: a man standing in the baggage claim area holding a sign with a name on it. It was when I saw the name on the sign that I did a double take: Ted Sprague. Either someone named Ted Sprague was flying into Dulles or a Heroes fan passenger was having fun.

If it was a joke, that is the kind of thing that could get you in trouble. Airport security has zero sense of humor. I guess you did not have time to see who accepted the ride?

No, I was in a hurry. If I'd had time I would at least have approached the waiting guy and asked if he'd heard of the show. He could have been a clueless driver waiting for someone who thought it would be funny to use a pseudonym.
