This whole post could be considered spoilerey, so SPOILER LINK: GO!

It occurs to me that even now, after so many of the happenings in Issac's paintings have come to pass, none of them have failed to come to pass.

Even the ones involving the "save the cheerleader" scenario all happened. Claire falling on the stairs, the cheerleader with her head cut open and, most recently, Peter dead in front of the homecoming banner--these things all occurred, despite the fact that the cheerleader was, indeed, saved and the immediate crisis was averted (unless you want to subsribe to the theory that Jackie was the cheerleader that Future Hiro was referring to.)

So I suppose my point is that every single thing that Issac has painted has come true. Does this mean that the explosion is inevitable? Does this mean that Issac paints the infallable, unavoidable future every single time?

I would welcome any examples to indicate the contrary.

At least one painting so far has not yet come to pass. Hiro and Ando standing under the Homecoming banner.

But it will come true, according to director Greg Beeman, in ep 11

seems like all his paintings come true, really... hmm... thinking, thinking...

Well, not all of them have come true, at least 100%. For the painting with Claire on the steps with the shadow dominating her changed to her and Peter with no shadow. So perhaps the events may happen but the circumstances may change. We don't know if the "save the cheerleader" event triggers the explosion or not.

by saving the cheerleader they supposdly saved the world, however that does not mean the boom will not go off
just because nyc is gone doesn't mean the world ends
so therefore, sorry if i am rambling, even though they may have saved the cheerleader the catastrophe in nyc might, and most likely will, still take place

The paintings are artistic renderings not exact portrayals, like the locker doors flying at peter, so this is why the shadow was not actually giant and looming.........................

Well, the shadow painting was exact. When looking back at Isaac viewing the future event while high, the shadow is as big as it is portrayed. But, I must admit 20 locker doors were not thrown at Peter.

The shadow painting DID happen. Peter appeared after Claire had tripped on the stairs. When Isaac painted that painting, he only saw from when She tripped, not right after.

Hiro and Ando haveyet to make it to the homecoming, so that one has yet to come true.
