Benjamin Knox Washington power is Animal Mimicry, hear me out on this one. In one of the new preview; Angela said ''The Prisoner that escaped on level 5 was the most dangerous, most powerful, rapist, arsonist, killer" This suggest that Knox has a very powerful ability, also in the same preview you see Knox running at super speed and he kills a cop. that suggest he has the ability of a cheetah because they are the fastest animals and he also punched through the cop stomach which means he also has super strength, which also suggest that he has the strength of a Lion. Someone on this board posted a spoiler about Knox power being "the combination of all". It is safe to say that Knox has the ability of any animal.

Or it could also mean that he's got heightened physical prowess. What that means that that everything he does is amplified.

Basically a normal punch from one of us would be magnified enough for him to do some serious damage. A normal run for us would be amplified, and he'd run 2-3 times faster, etc, etc.

Anyway, it doesn't necessarily mean that he's got some kind of animal mimicry, or even anything of this ability at all. Heck, it could even mean that it's going to be one of the spoilers that's going to get cut, and we'll never even get to see the powers this next time around. Who knows?

I thuink its more likely that his ability is enhanced muscular power, it would explain the super speed and enhanced strength. Perhaps Nikki's power, but the next step up of it so that it includes super speed. Seems likely to me at least.

Yeah, i agree with Kombat; it's Niki's power, only taken to the next level. How else could Jessica have killed whole rooms of dudes with guns? She was like the freakin tasmanian devil, a whirling dervish of death. OOOh, i like that.

Yeah, i think that heightened physical prowess sounds like reasonable answer. Still, if he is going to kill some of the main cast and scar peter ............................. he might have a questionable power.

Spoilers from last year reported that his character was signed up as super strength

Later, he is reported as a 'combination of all'

I still think he either has super strength or he has a ability similar to empath mimicry /intuitive aptitude

I get the feeling that Eenjamin is like a T1000 style of character. Not necessarily a robot, but can morph his body into whatever he chooses (like the car chase in Terminator II) This would also be acceptable with the information that his power is a combination of all. Because he can basically morph into anything he wants.....obviously all of these theories are shots in the dark, but this type of hero has yet to be seen (other than Zane, but he couldn't liquefy himself) in the tv series.

Not sure what you guys think, but I figured i'd put in my 2 cents.....

That's an awesome theory, Kane. However, I have a different take on Knox's ability.

In Graphic Novels #73 and #78, we are told the story of a woman named Linda Tavera. Linda Tavera is DEFINITELY a power absorber, and she obtains her abilities through (what I presume to be) sucking the lifeforce out of people and killing them.

1) In GN Chapter 73, Linda writes, "Just like she said. After I steal his power... no one will be able to stop me" (Linda was referring to Linderman).
2) In GN Chapter 78, Linda said that she wanted to take something from Jason Welkes to remember him by.
2) When Linda killed the lady in GN #78, she said: "Powers or not, she had to die."

My theory?

This is the writers' way of introducing Knox's ability into the series.
We were told that Knox's ability is like everyone's combined.
I think Knox has the same ability as Linda Tavera, and through experience, he has gained a plethora of abilities.

This doesn't exclude the non-readers of novels either. By showing us Linda's past, it gives GN readers a little background into Linda's character, and ability. For those that do not read the novels, it will be just as easy to introduce Knox's power. All the writers would have to do is show us the ability, and somehow explain the fact that because of years of experience (before being locked up), Knox has acquired many powers (maybe through a flashback).

Thoughts?

Maybe he's going to be Adam's major nemesis?

After all, thanks to the regen powers, Adam has lived quite a long time. If Knox was able to "absorb" an ability like Adam's, then it stands to reason that he could also have lived long enough to take quite a few powers, and thwart some of Adam's schemes.

It could also be that he's going to be some kind of "resistance" leader, who has been actively against what Primatech stands for. Even though small, they've got some serious members. So what they lack in size, they make up for in content.

Among these would be Knox, Claude, Sanjong, and some we've yet to meet.

They directly oppose those who founded Primatech. Adam, Angela, Daniel, Kaito, Charles, and the rest...
