i think peter not only mimics other heroes powers, but can "broadcast" heroes powers to other heroes. if this were true, he could mimic claires powers and also pass her powers on to other heroes.

for example, if nathan, claire, hiro and peter were all together, say, fighting that weird creature in the painting in isaacs apartment, they would all be able to fly, regenerate, stop time, teleport and time travel.

im not sure if this works given other information i may be ignoring, but i dont think peter has been around 2 other heroes at the same time. or maybe he has but the other heroes werent aware they had other powers.

he would have to be able to choose who and what powers are involved for this to make sense, but i think it would be amazing if it were true.

what are your ideas?

It appears that Peter only acquires his powers when in the company of others with powers. There does not seem to be any ability on his part to use them at all when he is alone. He has not shown any ability to transfer powers, but I do not recall a time when he is in the presence of 2 other people with powers. Interesting thought, Peter could very well be the "glue" to the group.

i don't buy him being able to transfer powers, but i can't wait for the moment when the group is united, and Peter will be able to mborrow all of their powers, therefore becoming the most important member of the team.

What I wonder is what happens if Peter comes into contact with Niki? Does he get a split image too?
