Ok, Slyar as we know him has an armory's worth of powers at his disposal. Peter, who can mimic powers is going to go fight him. So, couldn't they be the same when they fight each other? Man, that will be some climatic stuff.
And it appears that Peter is unaware that Mimicry is his power. I think he still believes that his power is flight like Nathan.
Yeah cuz he keeps telling everyone like,
"I can fly!" well, he can, but.... not all the time.
No, I remember him going through the logical motions a few times, somewhere along the lines of: "When I was near Nathan, I could fly. And when I was near Isaac, I could draw the future. Hmm...."
Maybe he will after losing this first time win the next one by saying "Hey whats that over there" and when sylar looks Peter will take sylars brain and turn evil.

Well, that is Peter actually mimics their powers or drains them. We don't really know that yet. Also, if he does mimic powers, it probably has some sort of limitation on it like how much powers he can mimic at a time.

I doubt the draining cuz future hiro woulda lost his time travel and nathan woulda fell to his death when peter flew. But I do agree that he will most likely have a limit to his mimicry.
Some things you do instinctively and some things you do with motions, gestures, and concentration.
Putting your pieces back into place you do instinctively because you know where everything goes and I suspect you feel some discomfort if not pain when your leg is twisted (and you know where it goes).
To run time backwards, you have to make your face "wobbly" or concentrate on it. As to flying, he flew without knowing it, but also tried to do it and failed. So which is the correct way? Does he have to do it without trying, and does concentrating inhibit it? As for telling the future, he knew that it came through painting and he had paint handy and tried it that way.
When it comes to Sylar, Sylar seems to literally have his power at his fingertips. Peter has seen some of them. Will he use his finger to move metal and then have it? Since he hasn't seen the freezing ot cranium removal.. will he not know to "call them" with his finger?
Yeah, when Sylar was throwing the locker doors at Peter I actually started yelling. I'm like, "Come on Peter, throw 'em back!" I probably could have but he just didn't realize it. I was so scared he was going to die but I figured out during the commercial break that he didn't...
Wait, are we allowed to talk about this stuff? It kinda gives a lotta stuff away for people who haven't seen it yet...I'm still figuring out how this stuff works

I agree that the Sylar/Peter fight was anti-climactic. Although Sylar had left the crash site, he appeared to be limping from an injury when he approached Eden.

Anti-climatic???? It was more like: nothing... Sylar didn't even attach Peter, just walked into him, and "Hey, here's a ledge, lets fall down" :S :S :S
Okay i wasn't expecting an amazing fight, as Peter's still learning how to use his power, and preveously he didn't know about Sylar's power anything, but this was much under my imagination.
